Here in NZ westpac gave a couple an overdraft facility with a $10 million dollar limit. They promptly vanished.

Westpac says the customer had in place a temporary overdraft facility with a limit up to $100,000 and when the bank sought to formalise that limit an error occurred which opened up the limit to $10 million.

The bank says the customer then attempted to unlawfully transfer amounts totalling around $6.7 million.

To date $2.9 million has been recovered and the bank is continuing to vigorously pursue the outstanding amount of $3.8 million.

What would you have done?

omg, i would have definitely taken the money lolz...if the bank offered the overdraft..

They are on the run lol. I don't think 3million is worth getting arrested for

meh but it was the banks mistake, they should understand what people would do for money...

That is irrelevant, the people in question were morally obligated to expose the error.
