So whats your opinion on prostitution. Should it be illegal? Would you let your daughter become one?

But seriously, making it illegal isn't going to change anything. Every big city where it's illegal, still has it.

Prostitution is not a question of right or wrong. It's a question of the personal quest for happiness and satisfaction. If one person chooses to prostitute themselves for money, they are happy doing so, and are able to support themselves and their loved ones doing so, how is that any different from any other job? Who does it effect other than themselves? It is no one's business what one person does to achieve their own personal goals. Freedom is freedom; you either have it or you don't. If people can not prostitute themselves for fear of or directly because of religious/moral stigmas, that is not freedom.

Besides, as everyone else is pointing out, prostitution does serve a valid purpose. It allows for quick and easy sexual relief without the need to engage in the tragedies and turmoils of relationship building and romantic development. Finding a person you connect with enough to fall in love with and, eventually, have sex with is hard, not to mention slow, work. Paying a prostitute achieves the desired results in a fraction of the time.

I believe I have closed the book on this matter. You may close this thread now.

But prostitution is(for the most part) a job women get if they can't get anything else. Being a ***** doesn't make the person happy.
