Why do cheaters cheat?
I've never really understood it.
If you don't want to be in a relationship with someone, why not just end it? You don't have to hurt the other person.... And you don't have to fool around behind their backs....

Loaded question with many possible answers.

First off many who cheat have no desire to lose the person they are with, they just can't resist playing around.

Secondly people like to jump into relationships to quickly you got that whole weak in the knees, butterflies in the stomach, it must be love. Yet you really have nothing in common. Get serious anyhow, even married, but as time goes on, those crush/lust feelings fade, then you are left with, what did I get myself into this person is boring. We never do anything I like or we just have nothing in common and you seek that thrill/getting the romance back elsewhere.

Then you have the ego, there are those that like the thrill of seeing how many people they can be with, how long they can get away with it, and some even like to brag about it.

Not everyone gets into a relationships with good or pure intentions to some it just a game and no they do not care if the other person gets hurt, they may even find it a thrill to know they can have such a hold on another person.

Then there is the actual psychological addict who can not resist it in general, this type however does not enjoy it at all, they just can not stop themselves, there is usually a history of abuse in these cases.

Like I said can be many reasons, another, people's feelings just change over time and they find interest elsewhere. These will usually fess up because they want out, but they may take time to build up the nerve to do so, especially if their are kids involved as well.

Did you know the majority of the cheaters is married couples? :O
Also a big amount of those people get married to ignite the spark they had in the beginning of their relationship.Since that isn't permament cheating becomes some sort of supplement.
This applies to the non married as well. ;D

that's sad.... makes me not wanna get married, lol, jk! I could never cheat. I'd be like.... I'm bored with you, we're going to marriage counseling ^_^
