Let's say that someone was in a life-threatening situation, and they were browsing these forums at the time. They typed the following message:

HELP. THIS IS URGENT AND NOT FAKE. THERE IS A MAN IN MY HOUSE WHO IS TRYING TO KILL ME. I LIVE OUT IN THE

He would be unable to finish the message due to him being stabbed in the back or something. However, in his dying moments he struggled to press the submit button. Then, it turns out that the killer is not that familiar with the internet and took no heed to what appeared to be a "chatroom" of weird guys talking something foreign things he has never heard of.

What would you do?

Hmm... i would be suprised of the correct punctuation and that the victim had the time to write all that while the stabber is doing his stabbety stab.

The problem is that i would still think of it as a fake. I'd run away with a phone rather than trying to type something to strangers on the internet.

if someone was in the house trying killing her/him or doing harm i don't think she/him will have time to type here

I'd think he or she was messing around so I'd make some kind of joke or sarcastic remark then feel like an absolute lower than dirt, dog shit covered, mother ****ing ass wipe when I found out it wasn't a joke in the news the next day.
