Rofl, it's really not fun. The people with farms up here got pretty devastated by it. Some people couldn't even get home because of it.

I explored too much when I wasn't at school or working. It's really nice in summer, when you can go walking and sit out with a good book. But when it rains it pours in New Zealand, lol.
So you're used to rural, I guess.

To be honest, the rural got a little boring when there is absolutely nothing to do, but I still miss it. My parents still live up there so I'll be going back at the summer.
