can't you take the batteries out temporarily?

he would line the door cracks with slightly damp towels, really pack them in there, so no air could get through. then he got a spray odor neutralizer. not deodorant, neutralizer, and basically coat the perimeter of the door with it before lighting. and then he would keep spraying intermittenly as he smoked. couldn't smell a thing, and he smoked a lot. never got caught.

by the way thanks. i think he's pretty cool myself. wild as hell.

i had a roommate when i went who had a foolproof way to get around thse detectors.
