I wasn't sure how to start this, so I'll start by saying this first. I studied the piano for many years and occasionally worked as a piano teacher -right now though I have only one student.
Having said that, I know that technique is something you conquer after hard practice, devotion, discipline and determination. But that isn't the only thing one needs to shine as a pianist. What makes the difference is expression.

I'm not sure how to start, so I'll go like this:
