I mean I'm not against starting there and if there are plot devises then it's worth watching then.

I don't plan on watching the Arlong arc, I just wanna get right into the Alabasta arc.

I didn't start yet, I will probably start this weekend since that's when I do most of my anime watching. And I've seen half of the Arlong arc. I know everyone's introduction and everything. I just can't remember what episode I left off on.
