I think SasuNaru is so popular because it practically completes the series. Yullen/AreKan adds a lot of meaning and depth to the boys' relationships w/ each other + everyone else, but isn't especially connected with the story. (I found more possible BL hints btw...)

Prayer of Patience has a more poetic style. I like it for that, and in general I like how sutlers portrays the characters. Especially Allen. If you do like that one, Sons of Heresy and Error is similar but w/ less symbolism and way more angst.

& though I normally hate the idea of Bleach pairings, I've read a couple of black.k.kat's shorter ones on FF.net. That's how good an author she is.

On AO3 I find it easier to find which stories are well-written but yes, it's probably not too different. DGM on FF.net is nuts though. Sooo... many fics, sooo... few really good ones. :/

I'm good too. Doing a lot of writing lately. Recently finished a very long DGM fic (10 chapters; 16k words, very M-rated), and it's got 52 reviews now, all very positive. ^_^

DGM doujinshi are sooo... disappointing. They mostly make Kanda a girly uke, and a few of them make Allen look like a 10 year old, when he's uke. Eeyugh... >_<;

I should try again though. There've got to be some decent, tasteful DGM doujins out there somewhere that aren't only T-rated.

For me, sadly, fanfics have really been the way to go with that fandom. I <3 sutlers' fics on AO3 (especially You Give Love a Bad Name, but for a short, somewhat angsty sample you might try Prayer of Patience). Also, there are black.k.kat's really angsty, emotionally rewarding DGM AU fics on FF.net.
