listen man...i am no scifi buff XD i cant understand it all lol but the series firefly is awesome i really think you would like it, its no anime but its good. It starts out slow but if you get passed the third episode you will love! or..like.
Id say my type of anime is pretty close to yours, i also cant help but like the 'slice of life' genre ^^, people say its boring but i dont know.. i like it!

Those are my current animes that im watching and damn i really like them. If you are a fan of the scifi series firefly then you would like bebop at least

Oh no ive seen it ^^ its been a while but i liked it a lot...especially the soundtrack, god that was good. See for me..its like rush hour, i LOVE rush hour but i really dont understand the story to well, even though i really like XD
