i disagree. the naruto one is right and kakashi one but rock lee and neji havent been been shown enouth for you to make that assumption. neji is jounin btw and thats the same rank as kakashi,guy,assuma,tamoto so he has to be better. and rock lee mannaged to became chounin (forgot what it is)with only taijutso and is probabaly second best at taijutso.

I thought it was weird how Neji, who predominately relies on close combat and is extremely lacking in long range combat, decided to learn a move that essentially pushes his opponent further away from him

Difference is if Rasengan connects you take a lot of damage. A weakened Deidara took Hakke Kuushou right to the face, and same with Kusuna in the Shippuuden movie, and both appeared uninjured, which leads me to believe its only real attribute is to knock the opponent back.

I disagree that most chars in Shippuuden appear weaker than in Naruto. for instance Sakura is a lot batter, NAruto was ok at first but then he draticly changed, and I liked the new sharingan that kakashe had used.

i dont know why they would think hes weaker in shippuden, in every fight except for the fillers hes shown much improvement especially itachi vs naruto

Itachi at his 30% of strength + later manga vs Kakashi, Chio, Sakura and Naruto.
Naruto vs Deidara unable to fight ranged combat, even by use of summoning water spliting, faster moving and higher jumping than Deidaras bird frogs.
Yes he went 4-tails and how strong he was ? Orochimaru was able to held him off, a guy that lost to Itachi... And as you have seen with 4 tails he cannot move. Standing and fighting is problematic for him

Orochimaru I d say got pwned he did not get but like one hit and I dont Genjustsu would be that efective in the 4-tail state
