Default rasengan should be an easy jutsu for...

i was just theorizing that it would be very easy to learn;almost second nature to ninjas of strong hyuuga blood.I could picture it being one of the clans signature jutsu with the skill and precision of their hands and chakra manipulations.

what do you guys think? i keep picturing neji using it very effectively with his taijutsu

I agree, it's the same basic principle as Neji's chakra shield, just more condensed.

i agree too. it should come easy for him, he wouldn't need a clone he can just do it with one hand. he is the chakra expert...he should be able to manipulate it easily...since he is now even a jounin

Your thinking is admirable, but what you mean is not neat. You see, Hyuga Clan is mainly made up of Taijutsu users, they don't really uses Ninjutsu except for the Main House. Their Chakra is purely made up of compressed and condensed Chakra to use for Taijutsu, which is combat. So being able to use Rasengan is not easy. Again, their Chakra is not very neat to use for molding. Neither is for concentrating. Hakke Rokujouyonshou is also a Taijutsu but uses Chakra.

what do you mean by molding chakra;rasengan is close range so the classification of it(nin- or tai-)is meaningless right?

do you mean to say that he doesnt have a big enough chakra reserve?
i just want to understand your point

Ok, now, what I mean is their Chakra is used for fighting directly, the Rasengan needs Chakra manipulation and shape manipulation, which means molding into the shape of a sphere. So it is not very clear that the Hyuga can actually uses Rasengan.

i see,but rasengan is very direct ninjutsu, practically an extension of a signature open-palmed Jyuken strike in his taijutsu. i dont think shape manipulation should be a problem with a master of the "gentle fist"as rasengan is very delicate and doesnt use hand signs.

it seems almost like a plot hole that he doesnt at least use a similar attack in the seriies but im just pondering a theory within a fantasy!

edit:and i understand it is not easy to use but i meant relative to other shinobi it would be easier for the Hyuugas.

The point is, Rasengan is a very smooth technique but needs a lot of Chakra for molding and for attacking. Jyuken is for direct blows and it is very hard-striking. One is very smooth and one is very strong. If they make contact, it will just like the first time Naruto fuses wind and Rasengan. Everything will be blown away and the user will receive devastating damage. The more powerful the user, the more damage it will do.

i understand it is different from jyuken. i also think a hyuga with a strong mastery of jyuken would have no problem with rasengen. that was my point.
