Jiraiya would be forced to lure him to higher ground (to leap from), I guess. But as long as Deidara wasn't allowed to kill himself with C4 and still call it a "victory," I think Jiraiya would have ways to deal with Deidara's regular explosions.

I also see Jiraiya locking Deidara up in the froggie's stomach at the first chance he gets (even if it gets damaged like with Itachi & Kisame)...

Theres a limit to how high Deidara can go and still be able to see Jiraiya. And as soon as Jiraiya realizes Deidara's eye zoom thing, he can just destroy it. Forcing Deidara to come lower. I think Jiraiya can seal the deal if he summons Bunta & the toad sennins. Cause then he can fight up high and do combined jutsu's powerufll enough to wipe out Deidara.

jiraiya can also like Kanna says do that frog stomach thing, which he surely would do in a fight against Deidara who flies up high. Once Deidara is in the stomach its only a matter of seconds before Jiraiya finishes him off.

I am fully aware of your incapability to think. So I'll give you an example.

He has attacks that can reach him.

Summons Bunta. Hops on Bunta. Bunta jumps up. Jiraiya does his Lion Mane jutsu. Or Katon. (If you dont get it, those are mid-long range attacks, so they have a higher chance of reaching Deidara thus destroying his eyething). Pretty magical indeed

Yeah,and magically Deidara won't be able to evade something like that
Not to mention Bunta and Jiraya would be an easier target to aim at and while in the air they won't be able to maneuver enough to dodge Deidara's bombs

I never said he wouldnt. But Jiraiya has enough up his sleeve to...wait a sec this is just insane. You are basicly claiming that Jiraiya wont even be able to hit Deidara, I dont know why you are overestimating Deidara like that, but the last thing Jiraiya cant do would be destroying Deidara's eye thing -.-

Aside from Wild Lion Lane jutsu,the collaboration jutsu with Gamabunta and the collaboration jutsu with 2 old toads when he is in Sage mode all of his other jutsus are either short or mid ranged (Maybe I missed 1-2 others)
But if he uses them from a mid or long range,I doubt it would hit,don't underestimate Deidara's maneuverability

But those jutsus combined with Bunta's jumping increase his range. And I know Deidara wont just stay in the air and get hit, he'll try to evade ofcourse, but thats why im saying Jiraiya has more up his sleeve, I mean, he surely will find a way to destroy Deidara's eye thing.

And once he has destroyed it, Deidara must come lower to the ground, from there on Jiraiya's chances increase. Jiraiya can defend against Deidara's bombs, either by evading a couple of them (which he cant keep doing for the whole fight) or by extending his hair and wrapping it around him (forgot the name of that jutsu).

If things really get desperate he can go into Sage mode. Its not like its impossible for him to go into Sage mode like all of you are claiming you know...
