And once he has destroyed it, Deidara must come lower to the ground, from there on Jiraiya's chances increase. Jiraiya can defend against Deidara's bombs, either by evading a couple of them (which he cant keep doing for the whole fight) or by extending his hair and wrapping it around him (forgot the name of that jutsu).
If things really get desperate he can go into Sage mode. Its not like its impossible for him to go into Sage mode like all of you are claiming you know...

That one might not be such an effective defense since he is dealing with bombs
Also if he tries to go into Sage mode,Deidara could easily use C4 and end it
And I can't see Jiraya destroying his eye thingy except with Taijutsu (Or rasengan) which he needs to get really close and Deidara can easily dodge and take advantage of it
The other jutsus would damage the whole body,not a specific spot

Well if Jiraiya tries to go into Sage mode, its not like he'll just sit on the ground and concentrate. He'll do it like he did against Pain. And maybe even have another summon fight off Deidara for a short period of time.
I see Jiraiya acutally using himself as decoy and let one of his summons destroy the eye thingy, for example. I mean Jiraiya wouldnt get reckless and would quickly think of a plan to destroy it.

Jiraiya having attacks that can reach him is speculation on your part. The entire point of Deidara being hundreds of feet in the air is to completely get out of Jiraiya's range. If you'd actually bothered to read the previous pages then you'd see that Gamabunta was already accounted for, Your Foolishness. You brought nothing to the discussion that was not already discussed except stupidity. If Jiraiya's large scale attacks hit Deidara then they're not just going to magically destroy Deidara's scope. They're likely going to kill Deidara. But of course an idiot like you would focus on the most retarded possibility and ignore the obvious.

Deidara was missing an arm AND already running out of clay, his only method of combat, when he ran into both naruto and kakashi using a mangekyo sharingan hax to take his other arm.

His fights with sasuke (who is also a natural counter to him) and gaara are much more reflective of his ability.

Any jutsu we've seen jiraya use capable of taking out deidara takes too much time to use, and time he wouldn't have. None of his earth based jutsu like swamp will have any effect what so ever. His summons are just huge targets for explosives, There's not many people more suited than deidara in taking out massive sized animals. He can't defuse the bombs like sasuke. tbh even though I think jiraya may be the stronger of the two, he doesn't have much that could win him the fight, unless he had time to prepare sage mode in advanced.

deidara's art is the best but Jiraiya took down 3 pain bodies by himself.. and if deidara doesn't blow him up when he blows himself with his ultimate jutsu.. there's no way he can win..
