It's kind of messed up and more than a bit of a stretch but I have considered in the past whether it is in fact an "Edo Izuna" that's somehow been brainwashed/reprogrammed to think he's Madara. But no matter how I look at it, that just sounds too ridiculous to be true.

about NObi, according with that idea Tobi being the real madara, how is it possible to have he's soul split?

I see your point to Kanna but the personalities seem so different but I do think whoever Tobi is at least knew Madara well enough to know his plan and about his eyes and would of obviously been around when Madara died or at least knew how to access his dead body.

I don't remember Madara mentioning the moons eye plan though just that he was aware of Nagato but edo Madara seems the type that would want to cause destruction not use it to create a dream world of peace that he controlled, wanting peace is not usually a Uchiha trait either it is more a senju trait. Edo Madara likes war and fighting, which would all cease to exist with everyone being controlled in a dream unless he made them fight. I think he enjoys it too much himself. That difference in personality makes me question about Tobi being Madara at all but maybe some one aware of the power the real Madara wanted but Tobi whoever he is wanted to use it for another purpose, because I think if edo Madara wanted the moons eye plan or wanted Nagato and the tailed beast it would of been for destruction purposes not to create a false peace.

yeah moons eye plan but still they do act a lot different maybe he did develope caution and patience over the years but I am still not convinced that they are the same maybe someone done a dna thing like Kabuto who now is looking like Oro but meh the personality difference makes me wonder.

Oh, intesting. Maybe Tobi fused himself with Madara dna after he died, like Kabuto with Oro's dna.
It's possible.
But we haven't seen Tobi using the abilities Madara has used in his fight.

It's also possible that madara can use time space jutsu but doesn't use it because he is inmortal and doesn't need it.

Tobi & Madara having different abilities has to be related to why we've never seen Tobi use so much as a MS. I wonder if he's using somebody else's eyes, other than Madara's. He's got a wall full of dead Uchiha eyes, after all.
