And no, I don't think it was ever stated that EMS gives an Uchiha a new jutsu, the MS already does that. I think EMS just enables them to use that jutsu on a more frequent basis w/out the risk of blindness.

I brought up those two because I think it would cause the most reaction. Have we actually seen Konoha's general reaction to Sasuke? Danzou and Naruto's group seems like it.

I think it was a character assumption and they were referring to Madara when it was said. Let me check.

Hmm, I do recall that scene, but keep in mind that Itachi was admittedly lying to Sasuke at the time that event took place. The only question is how much of that conversation was true, and how much of it was false? And if it is true, Itachi could've easily been referencing to any of the four sharingan techs gained after releasing MS/EMS (Tsukiyomi, Amaterasu, Susanoo). I guess we'll have to wait and see if he gains a new tech, though I hope not, as I've stated he's been OP for awhile now.

I don't think he could have been referring to a regular MS technique(or at least any of the ones the brothers had already) as it was established that both brothers had unlocked the MS already. I don't think an old technique would be referred to as 'completely new.'

OP compared to Naruto? Naruto has a virtually limitless supply of energy completely under his control now and top tier physical stats comparable to the best in the world. His weakness to genjutsu is now gone as well. As things are now Sasuke needs a power up to avoid being completely stomped.

Why not? The techs were new to him once he had unlocked MS. And Naruto only just recently gained full access to the Kyuubi's power, it's not like he's perfected it yet. Whereas Sasuke on the other hand has the 3 powerful MS techs I mentioned earlier completely at his disposal. Not to mention multiple element affinities/jutsu as well, compare to only one affinity/jutsu for Naruto.

The way I see it, Sasuke has far more versatility than Naruto in regards to both skill and ninjutsu. The only thing Naruto really has going for him atm is superior vitality. A bunch of which I might add has already been used up during his clones' battles during the war, and against the 6 Jins, and now against Nobi.

Obviously because he didn't just unlock the MS. There's no logical reason why he would refer what was new to him when he unlocked the MS as what was new to him then.

Sasuke may be more versatile but it's not gonna help him much. A fraction of the Kyuubi's power is enough to create dozens of clones each with a giant rasengan. Sasuke no longer has a clear speed advantage and his new skill with genjutsu is useless. Naruto can also throw and direct rasengan now. How much chakra Naruto has isn't even really relevant now because he has full access to the kyuubi's.

What? Naruto's chakra isn't relevant? Come on man, it clearly is relevant, and I just explained to you why (him not having full mastery of the Kyuubi's power). Sasuke's versatility in ninjutsu counts for a lot, no matter how Naruto does it, the rasengan is just one move, and Sasuke is well aware of what it can do and is likely aware of how to counter it as well. Naruto can only enter bijuu-mode for 5 minutes, Sasuke can hold Susanoo for a lengthy period of time.

Naruto's chakra stops being relevant when the Kyuubi stops taking his chakra in exchange. Why? Because he can draw on the kyuubi's virtually endless supply of chakra indefinitely. When fighting a fire how much water is in your well is irrelevant when the ocean is 20 feet away.

He doesn't have full mastery of the bijuu mode. He clearly has great control over the kyuubi's chakra though. Full mastery is like Yamamoto level of skill in something. You don't need that to use something in battle effectively.

That sounds like wishful thinking. There's no magic technique Sasuke can use to nullify the rasengan. He either dodges it, blocks it, or meets it head on with his own technique. Since Naruto has virtually limitless chakra and is a one man army Sasuke will have a hard time consistently doing any of them. Naruto has the speed to dodge Sasuke's MS techniques, the power to break through his Sasunoo, the numbers to overwhelm him, and the stamina to outlast him. Sasuke having strong jutsu is largely pointless if they can't land or if they only hit a clone.

The ocean being 20 ft away is irrelevant when you can only draw on so much water at a time. And we're not talking about some house fire here, we're talking a flaming forest that is Sasuke. And against someone as skilled as Sasuke, full mastery is gonna be necessary. Spamming the same tech like Ichigo does Getsuga Tensho isn't gonna be any more effective (he tried that against the Espada and Aizen remember? It didn't work). Which is what Naruto's gonna do w/ the rasengan.

Speaking of the rasengan, there's no wishful thinking, Sasuke has managed to do all of those things consistently in the series. In fact, I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that Sasuke is the only serious opponent Naruto has faced in the series that hasn't been hit with a rasengan, perhaps other than the Raikage (4th). And it's funny that you bring up Naruto being a 1-man army, when Sasuke has proven himself capable of handling those types of numbers before, such as when he took out an entire legion of ninja as training under Orochimaru, or even when he showed capable of handling Naruto's clones with little trouble during their first fight.
