DEJA VU! Anyway! Itachi didn't destroy the village. He killed off most of the Uchiha clan by orders of the Hokage. There is no proof Tobi is Obito (Kakashi's fallen teammate). And Madara who is also Tobi created Akatsuki so he didn't just join.

There is more proof that Tobi is Madara rather than Tobi being Obito. Actually, theres no proof at all that Obito is Tobi. Unless you think fanfics and artwork prove otherwise.

He said himself he was Madara. He wouldn't have a reason to make that up. Plus his past is his motivation to destroy Konoha. He hates it. If he is Obito, why would he be an antagonist? He was like Naruto when he was alive.

obito can't be tobi because he crushed is right eye and the whole of his right body...and he gave his left sharingan to kakashi...thing is tobi has sharingan so apperantly that rules out any chances of obito being tobi
