Yeah i think you are right. He moved the 4 bodies on a safe place with Konan before using Shinra tensei on Konoha. That says that he can still use them.

well when Pein has enough chakra again those bodies will be back under his control. but I wonder what will hapen next.to bad the next chapter comes out in 2 weeks

can anyone make sense when one of the pains says "shinra tensei" before the last chapter?

it was chapter 423, page 2 (sorry im not able to post links because i havent posted 10 times yet)

an explosion seems to occur right after but not nearly on the same level

Yes that is God Realm Pain's ability. Pulling and Pushing things to and from him. A gravity jutsu or something. Thats what he did and destroyed Konoha. It wasn't an actual "bomb". He just "pushed" konoha down destroying it , creating a crater.
