he fuses regular sand with his own chakra. i think its kind of somilar to the puppet tecnique. what he really needs to do is form the sand into the shape of people to attack things. and if it gets its head cut of it could just reform. that would be so COOL! ^w^

No, he did not lose his power, and the sand will still protect him, It wasn't the shikaku that protected him, it was his mother's spirit.. remember. All the shikaku did was give him lots of chakra. like the Akasuki are using the tailed-beast for now

even if gaara lost the he's biju he still has his sand powers, it will just drain mare chakara and won't be able to become super crazy anymore

gaara cant lose his powers u know? if he loses he's power then it means that theres not gaara anymore.. and gaara is still alive he's just training atm (my theory) so he could get better without 1-tails

i still think gaara is badass. even if he can't control all the sand he wants he can still fuse his chakra with the sand so he can control it. it would be like shape manipulation except its already sand. i really do hope we get to see gaara at kage meeting. and that 8 tailed dude would do something already.

gaara will be back, and he'll do some damage. he'll be stronger n different ways because he will have the support of his village and not their fear.
