Which Akatsuki member do you think is Overrated? (Possible spoilers)

But Hidan's worse. Could Hidan beat Gaara? Could Hidan Injure Sasuke? No to both. Deidara is a crazy guy that's strong and blows stuff up. Hidan is an immortal guy that can be injured and as good as killed. Which sounds more useful.

It's called being a long range fighter. He wasn't running during his fight with Sasuke either. He was on the offensive for the majority of the fight. What you're during is called making excuses. Everyone runs from Gaara's sand. Gaara's not a fighter because he has a automatic defense?

Regardless of if you consider him a fighter he's superior to Hidan in combat and is overall more useful. The poll doesn't ask who do you like more it ask who's more overrated. With Deidara you get what you expect but with Hidan goes around calling himself immortal but becomes useless if his head is cut off. I was expecting his body to get up and keep attacking but it didn't. That makes him immortal but a crappy version of it.

Hidan's abilities are overrated. But the character himself is awesome. I'd say Itachi.

Deidara sucks? Excuse me? Ahem, I've been defending this dude's honor since the dawn of the Naruto Message Boards.

Deidara is one of the BEST fighters in the Akatsuki and is very UNDERrated.

He defeated Gaara, the Kazekage. He beat the shit out of Sasuke. He trained his left eye to completely counter the Sharingan's Genjutsu, a feat we have never seen before. His strongest technique, C4 Garuda, can completely and utterly annihilate anyone without the Sharingan, and people who aren't aware of what his attack does. And even people who are aware of what his attack does, must have an alternative to breathing.


When you say he was running the whole fight, I'm sorry, but when you defeat someone, you clearly aren't running from them. He is a long range fighter, and so is Gaara. They were both standing far from each other the whole fight, so to say one of them was running from the other makes absolutely no sense at all.

Please elaborate, because anyone who says he sucks is automatically wrong. He is absolute pwn.
