I think the terrain would play a big part here. In a open area Kidomaru can't set up traps or hide like he did vs Neji. I'd vote for Hidan in that situation. However if they're near a forest Hidan doesn't stand a chance. Kidomaru is much smarter(he could dissect Hidan) , I doubt Hidan can cut his ropes, and Kidomaru is a ranged fighter. I see it ending with Hidan tied up in a ball of web and being fed to that spider.

but even in an open area wouldnt hidans scythe get 'tangled up' immediately in its first attack? Kido seems to be very much about finesse & precision...doesnt he have a defined, mid to long-range adv. even outside the forest? Certainly hidan has the power adv... hes got to get close to, then overpower & get blood from a iron-skinned man who spits unbreakable, 20 foot webs. And then quickly/conversely create enough distance/time to 'ritualize'. then there is kido's offense... thats a pretty long shot... he would have a much better chance of just killing him with the old fashioned psycho-slasher way. i think his only chance is to behead/decapitate kidomaru, out in the open. its possible but i still think the odds are stacked in the favor of kido...

in the open im sure he could avoid the webs defensively, keeping his body free to attack... im talkin about hidans scythe-offense...the scythe is a easy target, kido could just shoot its rope or change its trajectory with webs, even pulling it. hidan has to get really close right? im thinking kido wins in mid range against a simple rope-weapon...

Then kidomaru wins both. So...Sasori - Deidara now?

I'd vote on Sasori. Deidara only has so many bombs and Sasori only needs to land one attack. It would kinda depend on Sasori's ability to destroy/avoid the bombs and Deidara's ability to maneuver on his birds. Nothing is set in stone with this match.

yeah, deidara might just have to retreat in the end. compared to sasori even he seems kind of one-dimensional...he knows to attack sasoris heart but could he ever get to it? anyway, both of these guys could take on multiple akatsuki members at once; only pein can claim that.
