Re: Battle of Red Cliff 2 What you read was San Guo Yan Yi (Romance of the Three Kingdoms), that was a novel and some of those stories were fiction. Such as Zhang Fei scaring off the Cao army, or Zhou Yu and Zhuge Liang were rivals and Zhou Yu died of jealousy. What this movie depicted was actually more historically accurate, except for how it ended of course. Try read San Guo Zhi, the Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms, you will find it differs a lot from the novel. |

Re: Battle of Red Cliff 2 Remember that time Zhang Fei held off Cao Cao's entire army at Chang Ban bridge, or the time Cao Cao cut off his own top knot to flee from the Battle of Chi Bi, or how about the time that Liu Bei and Sun ShangXiang fell in love? I do... BECAUSE IT'S A ****ING PART OF HISTORY!!! BUT... this movie was amazing. I give it an 8.9... on a scale of 1 to 1.1 = P Hahalicious, if you ever read this... go to kongming.net (or if you feel like trusting the word of somebody that you've never met... just order the novel... you won't be let down, at all. Just make sure that it's not the abridged version.... because it's crap) |

Re: Battle of Red Cliff 2 Awesome movie! If it were to made a drama or more continuation after that it would be great. From what i have read from the comments, that would be unlikely since the story changed from what really happened like how the ending seems to be "happy". Anyone gt any links or recommendation for me to find out more about the real history or anything like that? And in english please =P Oh yeah recommend me movies such as these a well xD Thanks for uploading! PS: I cant stand to say thaat Zhaowei who acted as shangxiang is prettttty here. LOL! |
