Re: MR. Brain Episode 1 OMG, This is awesome. I watch it cus there was nothing else to do but it ended up being an awesome series. it reminds me a lot of Sherlock Holmes, and I wonder if all the things he said about the brain are true. The show also seems to be a bit philosophical at the end when he ask if he was still the same person even if the inside of his brain had changed. One thing that I'm surprised is that there is capital punishment in Japan... it's weird given that they seem to be so rational... |

Re: MR. Brain Episode 1 "..5% only.." If I recall correctly, it's actually a 10% myth. And this myth had been proven as nothing more than a false theory. It was assumed that it began with a misquote by Einstein. Human actually use 100% of the brain but if missing, the other parts will compensate for the loss. Though it will effect some parts. Look out for "Phineas Gage" for examples. However, I'm gonna overlook all that since they brought in the good actors and great storyline. I think i'm going to enjoy this drama. Edit: I should have watched it till the end before leaving a comment (I only watched part 1 that time).. My bad. So they used a lot of mythical theories in this but none were used for facts and explanations. There are more truth than myths. |
