Usopp is a idiot! [Minor spoilers]

I don't mean this literary but it has been bothering me that he doesn't use his dials anymore. After I saw him almost beating luffy loads of episodes ago I thought he was going to be more of a fighter but instead he just stopped using the dials and now they aren't even mentioned.

Usopp should start using his dials again!

Anyone else share my opinion?

Hmm, usopp is more of a long distance fighter, his dials would force him to go close to his enemies wouldnt they? If so, then id say he shouldnt use them or only use them in worse case scenarios especially with all the damage they inflict on the user.

I agree with u, only about the part the Dials should be used.
But Usopp is totally the wrong person on the crew to use them.
He's the Marksman, a sniper, he shoots from faraway, unless he has a way to put it on a boomerang and send it flying at his enemy and then gets it back, it's really wasteful for him to use it, unless on defense, without mentioning that it'd destroy him.
I thought about a way for Luffy to double his damage, by putting the dial somehow on his hand as a fist, meaning on the back of his finger, and then hitting his target with all his power in a fist with a dial on it, causing the enemy to get damaged by: the fist AND the dial's power.

Remember that Usopp is quite a coward (compared to others) and he also is just a normal human, meaning he hates getting hurt and all the fighting, when dials (impact ones) cause damadge to the user. If I were Usopp I wouldn't use them either

On kabuto, he uses a breath dial to make his stuff hit the target faster...

Tim-Tim's right. I don't remember when exactly he says it, but he does use dial's on Kabuto. If I remember correctly he can also use a flame dial for his firebird. Also he gave some of the dials to Nami for her climatact.

As for using them in close combat; he very simply doesn't have the strength to do it, even if he did collect the courage. If you noticed when he used it against Luffy, he was almost sent flying himself from the recoil. It was also shown in the filler at the end of the 4th season (Navarone) when they were trying to get out, he needed teh support from both Sanji and Zoro to handle the recoil, even though he wasn't injured.

u have franky running the ship and making things, Nami Navigates and Choper is the doctor, Usopp is their so every1 else can save him when hes in deep shi*

Usopp was the ship repairing guy till Franky came. So he did lose use, but he's far from useless. He's the only one who can use the cannons with exact precision and he has taken to inventing rather than building since Franky came. He made both Nami's weapon, and the salt balls they're using now(which are a lot handier than going into battle with a shaker.) They have already explained that Usopp's strength doesn't lie in his actual strength. As for the dials, he uses flame dials in his weapon, and impact dials would be kinda stupid to use on zombies. His ingenuous use of them on Luffy was because he knows Luffy so well that he was able predict how he would fight and had a day to actually prepare the battlefield.

i like ussop but i think that hes not as funny as he once was rather old news gets boring fast

alot of my friends dont watch one piece cuz of usopp they say... im still glad hes in the crew tho cuz u need a few weak ppl on every pirate ship :P and yea he does hav alot of things others dont

i wish tho that one piece would get more dramatic and quik like the first few seasons, maybe by killing off one of the main charachters (hopefully not Ace cuz it seems possible)
