ace for me , if ace also used haki as frequently as luffy is doing then ace might end up burning the rubber pirate

I dunno man... I always felt that after Enies Lobby, if Luffy could just land a solid hit on Ace with Gear Second or Third, he'd win. Not A SINGLE HIT... but, y'know... Gear Second is too fast so he'd win in several good hits.

before the TS luffy wouldn't be able to land at least one attack on ace but after the TS its another story...

after time skip? Luffy, no question. ace had no haki, that alone would give luffy the win. now before time skip ace clearly had the edge and if hed lived i imagine he would have kept his edge.
