enel has awesome haki and a highly impressive df, but he himself wasnt that impressive. way to full of himself and to egostical to view others as threats, which led to his defeat.

enel is so underrated because his loss to luffy pre gears/haki.

lets face it, enel could move at lightning speed, has the best observations haki in the series so far (with df assistance), and one of the most destructive fruits.

enel lost due to both ignorance and arrogance, not to mention luffy was like a perfect counter to him.

anyway I still think shanks has the clear advantage, experience is on his side, once he get close enough enel is screwed, but if enel went into a fight having knowledge of blue sea combat (well, basically haki), I don't think it would be so one sided.

enel is stupid strong, he just hold himself back with his ego. also, i wasnt joking when i said one mean look would do it. if shanks really tried, like with all his effort, i bet he could knock him out with King's Will alone

yah, and shanks split to heavens and damaged physical things with his will. enel's will is like a ballon, really big but easy to pop. also, wedont know how his defeat by luffy effected him emontionally and wat not: to think yourself a god and be beaten by a mortal, thats gotta have an effect.

im not saying it would be easy for shanks to do it, but catch enel even slightly off guard and shanks "at full power", yah, enel going to have a long fall out of the sky

Wow people here surprise me O.o Enel would give Shanks a hard time?!! Look I agree with someone who said that Enel is being underestimated because of his loss to Luffy...but....come on son Shanks?!!
