How so? It's been a couple of years, he developed quite a lot while under Garp for the first few months. He wouldn't be overpowered either; Luffy beat Lucci, who mastered all Rokushiki (including Rokuougan), years ago and got much more powerful since.

agree letting him learn rokushiki would be nice.. but rokuougan too much.. it's just suited for someone as strong as lucci..

She has no...appearance...I dont know how to say it but she just doesnt.... Well I just dont want her to She is pretty much the only real swordsman in the marines so she'll prolly end up facing Zoro, but seriously unless theres a good story behind her being so strong, I dont like the idea of it.

A good story line would be that Garp had realized Coby's potential during the war and focused on him like a son after that.
Garp would drag that power out of him with the secret intention of having him go out to protect luffy though it would appear like Garp had made a new weapon to take down the pirate era.
A DF of some kind would be a likely addition to coby too.. I'm thinking something that would let him mess with people's heads. Something similar to what xavier can do in xmen

Akainu would be aware of Garps & Coby's true colors though and would be making things complicated. He'd be looking for an oppertunity to kill Coby and piss on Garp's name, calling him a traitor and such but would avoid going at him directly.

Hmm i agree Garp training Coby like crazy would be a good one, but the intention you said doesnt suit me. Purely because Coby has no status and all and no matter how much he improved he couldnt be stronger than Luffy, so him protecting Luffy isnt what I want just yet. But then again maybe you are speaking longggg term so who knows then it would okay. Though I would like if Coby would end up all haki and without a df....

Oh snap speaking about Coby, I totally forgot about Helmeppo xD xD Ofc he is the
swordsman that should face Zoro, f*ck Tashigi

Coby will never bench press what Luffy can, so what?

He's a marine. By this time he will have some command too. He is more likely to avoid an unnecessary battle and use other influence and behind the scenes trickery. For the most part, Luffy wouldn't even know he was there. Until Coby himself wanted to have his re-match with Straw hat.
When that time came, I'd expect to see Luffy feeling like he did when fighting Lucchi.
Coby was there in the first episode and will be there in the last one.

You know, everyone is saying that coby is weak because Luffy One-shotted him duringg the war, but I distinctly remember Luffy doing the exact same thing to a vice-admiral that had just used tekkai hardening, and Coby had also used Soru at the time, so I think there's a good chance tht Coby was low-tier vice admiral level back then, and it goes without saying that he will be a lot stronger now than he was then.
