Well, Mihawk commented that only a fool would not know Vista's name; so I'd say he is very strong a swordsman.

Nah, your logic's the one that doesn't make any sense, why the f* will you say that luffy's a great swordman just because his stronger than zoro, I didn't even seen luffy fight once with any weapon, he's key points will always be his brute strength,DF Ability and haki. and there's a lot of freaking characters that are presented that are hell lot stronger than zoro, and i'm not even pointing that they're all swordsman, i'm just pointing out that even in the past shank's swordsmanship is stated to be on par w/ mihawk, that can mean he's one of the strongest swordsman presented in the series even though he's still not presented in any actual fight. being on par w/ mihawk that my mean a lot considering his the best swordsman in the world. and considering that he's on his prime right now, what will you think, a swordsman who's using haki is still a swordsman and if he imbued his sword w/ his haki, he can kick up anyone's ass with just a single slash

Where, exactly, was stated that Shanks "swordmanship" was on pair with Mihawk??? That's make him the second best swordsman in the world right?

Shanks is strong, I think he is stronger that mihawk (Mihawk didn't stop any war just with his presence, right), but not because of his use of swords, in the sword department Mihawk is indeed stronger, but in fighting in general, use of Haki and other abilitites we probably don't know he is one of the 4 stronger pirates in the world.
So, I doubt Shanks is a specially strong swordsman.

You have never seen Natsu use a weapon? well, it depends of the definition of weapons but, at least he has used swords once, though, it wasn't his one abilities. Do you remember Nightmare luffy.

Well Whitebeard stated it, when the two meeted up right after the end of EL Arc
if i go with the direct saying he said "the daily duels of you and mihawk still sounded new to my ears" hmm something like that i guess, and also it is stated in the wiki that in the past, mihawk would often seek him out for duels. and is considered him as a former rival, however lost interest in him after he lost his left arm. well i'm just considering those info, he's swordsmanship my even par mihawk right? even if it's not presented in the series because the two of them are considered former rivals.
