Well in a sense. It's day to day, and you have to make relationship choices and such for the various Social Links, but you actually move the character around and stuff, so it's more direct.

Very nice. Those are incredibly useful (and limited) items, so don't waste them. They're used to purify very powerful cursed weapons and equipment you find in the game.
