I don't think Nl gets it.

The shadow pins your shadow down. You can't separate from it, meaning you can't move away, but you can still wave your arms or anything that's not directly under the sword. Do you get it?

You're still stuck on that SPOT, but it doesn't mean you can't move at all. If the sword is stuck into your shadow's leg, you obviously can't use that leg because its being binded. But your arm isn't under the shadow, so moving it doesn't affect. That's why I mentioned Shiki tried to pull the sword out, but it didn't work. If he couldn't move at all, he obviously wouldn't have been able to do that much.
