I wasn't sure what the starting level for the Ki was so I didn't want to just go ahead and accept Gedo's sheet. I couldn't spot any numbers for the starting amount. (Maybe I'm just blind to it)

I think that the starting level is 0........wait no that's a bad idea. I think we may have a problem.

And that is the point, Gedo has gone ahead and guessed that it was 100 points to divide between the three parts. Starting off at 0 would be a horrible idea because there would be no way anyone could have a special technique to start with.

no he has not. cause gedo's first skill is Zen and this is the desc of Zen

Zen: A natural knack for Ki. Choosing this gives you an extra Ki points to spend at the beginning. 100 points if Zen is Primary, 50 is Zen is Secondary.

Right, I missed that part. That accounts for where his 100 start has come from but surely there should be a certain amount for everybody to start with.

I have to agree. well not much we can do now till Kira comes on, but what do you think the amount should be?

Well if the amount was 100 then those that choose zen get double the amount to begin with or at least an extra 50%. Otherwise maybe 25,50 or 75. If its 75 then each section could begin with 25 in it if the person wanted an all round character.

yep, I think 75 or 150 would be best. any why i'm off now to work on my PD character
