| Lord of the Mero | I don't imagine you'd permit me to advertise my new RP to some of your reliable rpers, since - as I understand it - it will be some time before your next one is ready?

| Lord of the Mero | Hmm... you know I hadn't considered writing an RP about the events in your bedroom...

| Lord of the Mero | So far, this is what I have: It's still in the future, a few years after the time period of this RP. The Shinigami were completely destroyed in the war. The Arrancar reign supreme in the spirit realms, while terrorizing the Human realm. In order to counter the constant assaults by the arrancar/vacio Dios, the Human "Seers", which I invented in this RP, have become an international force of considerable strength, armed with technology on par with the power of a Vasto Lorde class arrancar. The problem is, they don't differentiate between Arrancar and Shinigami - not that it matters now. Here's where the members join in. In his infinite wisdom, just before he was overwhelmed himself, Urahara Kisuke found away to store the reiatsu of 5 (or 6) Captain level Shinigami, to be transferred to a group of humans at a later date. He then sent the object, filled with that reiatsu, into the human world, where it would activate many years down the road. The members of this RP will be the group of humans who gained the object's power. However, Kisuke also knew that just granting any random human all the powers of a Captain would be insane; humans would misuse it. So he rigged the reiatsu to need to be unsealed within the humans through combat. So, as the RP progresses, the characters will get stronger and gain access to new abilities. The main enemy is the arrancar and the Seers, who will both be trying to destroy the new shinigami. It's a quest, because when they gain their powers, they really don't gain much knowledge of what to do with it. So first they must find a way into Soul Society, into the ruins of the Seireitei, to look for clues. All the while fending off attacks from Arrancar and Human alike. However, because the Humans will destroy anybody, there's a bit of politicking and strategy involved, because you can play the two groups off of each other. Plus, the characters are going to be very weak at the start, nowhere near able to engage a human military force or arrancar in a head on fight. For the first part, they'll need to do alot of stealth work. Perhaps not as refined as Miss Illya's, but I'm going to give it a shot anyways.
