Info and Bio thread




Summary

Since people needed the TLDR version:

Basically this group revolves around playing according to the rules of the Game Master, or in this case, The Absolute God. You create a god with a jurisdiction and fighting style and explore and fight for control of the world to reshape it as you desire, this can include character sheets, the terrain, monsters, etc. You can also find weapons and items when you explore, fight, and do other things in the world. For further details, simply read the spoilers below, just because they are in spoilers, does not mean there is an ocean of text in each one. Many of the spoilers are simply for organization and are short, sweet, and to the point.
Sheets will change regularly to keep things new and exciting, with the addition of this rule, players can be killed regularly if certain conditions are met, meaning that at certain times, sheets will be required to be remade.



The Story

The Lawless Void, a cemetery of the Gods created long, long ago. The Lawless Void is a world separated from time and space where Gods come to die. Before their deaths, Gods gravitate to this place and drift into the flow of the Stream of Rebirth, a cosmic flow of godly energies that breaks down the body of the God, wiping away all power and memory, leaving only a remnant consciousness to imagine itself into a new being. Upon their Rebirth, the Gods had realized that their place in the universe was no longer necessary and drifted off into a deep, deep sleep. Eons passed before the Gods awoke, drifting in this dreary, empty, space until they grew bored and devised a game. The game would be a battle royale to determine the strongest among them, The Absolute God who would control the game and many of its aspects. First, they created a world of their own in which the battle would be waged, a constantly changing planet at the whim of the controller. Second, they imposed limits on themselves, behavior in a human form that added a sense of skill and cunning. Third, they created monsters to weed out the cowards and return them to the Stream of Rebirth. And finally they created ways for themselves to gain the upper hand in the form of territories and treasures. The game has since gone on forever and ever.


The Rules

1.) All Character sheets are required to be ORIGINAL. That means your character should not mimic, in any way, a character from any anime/manga/video game or any other persons real or fictional. The only exception to this rule is fighting style. This rule also applies to created creatures, places, territories, etc.

2.) A person(s) may only become The Absolute God via one of these three methods: Defeat The Absolute God(s) in battle, Control All Territories, or Win the Tournament. See the corresponding section for details.

3.) The Absolute God(s) MUST create a new world/territories/dungeon/wraiths upon their coronation as the new Absolute God. The world will be numbered and named.

4.) Character sheets MUST be replaced every second cycle. Character sheets may only be changed at the beginning of a new cycle, at that time you will have THREE DAYS to complete your sheet before all information on it becomes locked and unchangeable.

5.) Upon becoming The Absolute God, players will have their character sheet immortalized, allowing them to use it in future cycles without limit. The Absolute God will also receive a deicide weapon and deus armor as well as a second jurisdiction of their choosing. The Absolute God will also receive a single Ancestral Blessing. If a player wishes to use their sheet in a cycle again, their deicide weapon, deus armor, and secondary mastery will all be sealed (placed in a special section of the character sheet) until an ancestral blessing is used for each of them.

6.) The current Absolute God(s) may create a secondary sheet in order to participate in battles, territory war, etc. They may not challenge themselves to become The Absolute God, but may become The Absolute God by any other means.

7.) All NPC/Dungeon/Instance posts MUST BE AT LEAST 3+ LINES! I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ONE-LINERS! I WILL CANCEL YOUR EXPLORATION! CHECK YOUR GRAMMAR AND SPELLING AND MAKE SURE IT IS LEGIBLE!

8.) The abilities and powers of this game are very lenient, you may use whatever abilities you desire with appropriate limitations, however a select few are banned. Banned powers include, but are not limited to, controlling the opponent, probability manipulation, and autonomous units. Space and Time powers will be allowed, but they should have appropriate limits which will be monitored closely.

9.) Players of the game may be KILLED. This is can only be done by the use of a deicide weapon or being killed by a wandering wraith. If your character is killed by either of these, you will be required to RECREATE YOUR CHARACTER SHEET. Keep in mind that deicide weapons are hard to obtain and even if you are defeated by a player with a deicide weapon it is not the same as being killed (this is actually extremely difficult to pull off). Wandering Wraiths are far less forgiving, they are difficult to escape and are merciless lords of the land and they play to win, they are unsatisfied by defeat and will kill you without hesitation, a confrontation will not end until one side is dead.

10.) These rules may not be added/edited/removed unless it is deemed that there is a significant need for amendment, in which case it will be done by the acting Absolute God.

11.) The Absolute God has the right to alter any aspects of the game that are not set in stone. This can include, but is not limited to, character sheet layout and any form of future marketing prospects.

12.) Upon the start of a new character sheet, all players are required to get rid of all collected weapons, items, etc. These items may be retrieved by the use of an Ancestral Blessing in the future, so save your sheets and don't erase anything.

13.) Players may randomly intrude on a person's spar or incorporate special events to liven up the fight. You can elect not to have this occur by stating so during your Post 0. If you choose to allow this to happen, rewards for the spar will increase. (See sparring tab)

14.) The first Absolute God may alter certain aspects of the group, even past his cycle. This is not to drastically interfere with the powers of the current Absolute God, but to provide a constant support for the group.

15.) You can not divide the number of cycles of a character sheet. Once it is recreated, it can only be used again with a rebirth order.

16.) Upon winning the game, this account will be passed to the new Absolute God.



Sparring

Sparring will be mostly the same. Two or more players will challenge one another to battle and this will go on for as long as they desire, a standard spar of five turns will earn a tarot card for each player, regardless of the outcome, every five turns following that will earn additional cards. During the Turn 0 the players can agree to allow outside events to enter their spar, this can include environmental effects, monsters, or other players intruding into their spar. If you allow this setting on, rewards will be increased, environments will be taken care of by a random NPC who will be compensated with a single card, this NPC must control the environment/monster for at least five turns (A-B-C-A-B-C-A-B-C format where A is the NPC) for any participants to have their reward increased. This will be called "Into the Fray" to indicate if you wish this setting to be applied to your spar, simply add "Into the Fray: Yes" to turn 0, if not, add "Into the Fray: No" to turn 0.

Killing a player will quintuple rewards for the victor.

Wandering Wraiths will ignore this rule. They are kind of dicks like that.





Becoming The Absolute God

There are only three ways to become The Absolute God. It is possible to have multiple Absolute Gods. The three methods to become The Absolute God is as follows:

Method 1 - Battle: The first method is the most direct. A player(s) may challenge the current Absolute God to battle, if they are victorious, they become the new Absolute God. The Absolute God has the right to refuse this challenge, if not they may put you through a hellish ordeal before you even reach them, so this method is not recommended.

Method 2 - Territory War: This is the most encouraged method to become The Absolute God. If all territories are owned by a single group, they become the new Absolute God(s). See details in the corresponding tab.

Method 3 - The Tournament: This method is only done if the current territory war has gone on for a full month without any group controlling the board. The tournament will be initiated and participants will be required to register. See details in the corresponding tab.


Territory War

With each world The Absolute God will be required to create territories (territories will range between 5-10 different territories, this is up to the Absolute God(s)). These territories will grant special bonuses to the owners. Once all the territories are claimed the player(s) controlling those territories will become the new Absolute God. To declare war on a territory, simply register your team and post your declaration of war. Territories will be on a first-come first-serve basis, so grab them fast.

A player can elect to go at this solo or in a group. A solo player will be given a bonus upon registration. A party can be forged to form a stronger strike force, parties do not have a number limit, however parties are required to be REGISTERED in order to be fully recognized as a team.

Players have the option to merge with other parties or players (depending if soloing) ONCE EACH during the course of the cycle. THIS ALLIANCE CAN NOT BE BROKEN. The territories become shared between the two. If a solo player merges, their awarded bonus for soloing is rendered null. If both parties control the entire board, all involved players become The Absolute God.

If a party/alliance controls all the territories, all involved players become The Absolute Gods. Players will have the right to exclude players from becoming The Absolute God if they feel they have not participated enough in the war. The current Absolute God has the right to do the same, but also exclusively holds the right to overturn the victorious party's decision.

TERRITORY WARS START AT A SPECIFIC TIME! It is important all members post within the territory war battle within the first 12 hours of the start of the war, if they are unable to do so they will be barred from participating in that particular war. The party has two days to determine a victor, if one can not be reached within that time frame, then they MUST find a person to judge it immediately or the war will be considered null.

After a territory has been claimed, players may not challenge that territory for 24 hours.

The initial territory war, the players will face off against a monster or considerable strength, upon defeating it, the territory will be claimed. Afterwards, if a territory is owned it will enter a PvP war. There will be two parties, the attacker and the defender. If the defender wins, they keep their current territory, if the attacker wins, they gain the territory.


The Tournament

The Tournament is an event that takes place if all territories are not unanimously claimed by the end of the month cycle. At this time a tournament will take place to determine the new Absolute God(s). Players may enter this tournament in teams of two and once again, solo players will be offered a bonus. The tournament will be single elimination with the victor being the new Absolute God.


Dungeons/Instances

Dungeons and Instances are places that are unique to the current world and change with each cycle. The dungeon will be NPCed by a player of their choosing and that player will control all encounters and paths within those dungeons and instances. The NPC and the explorers will both receive a reward from The Absolute God or the proper personnel upon completion. If a player participates significantly less, they will receive an appropriate reward. Dungeons and Instances are complex and expansive, so there is no reason not to explore them again and again to discover new paths and find new, exciting rewards.


Wandering Wraiths

The Wandering Wraiths are a series of monsters created by The Absolute God in order to feed the cycle of rebirth. These creatures are extremely powerful and should not be taken on alone. These creature ares also capable of deicide, meaning if they kill your character, YOU MUST RECREATE YOUR SHEET. Wandering Wraiths can only be NPCed by the appropriately skilled personnel. The Wraiths can appear at any time, during a routine spar, a territory war, during a dungeon exploration, etc. You must be skilled to get away from these creatures should they appear. These creatures change with the reformation of the world. You can choose to challenge these creatures for phenomenal rewards which will be given by The Absolute God or the proper personnel.


Character Template

All Gods have the same general power, speed, flexibility, etc. The forerunners in those particular aspects will need to specialize in them.

Appearance -

Jurisdiction - Basically the type of god you are and what you control. You are only allowed one jurisdiction to start. Players can elect to have their jurisdiction stem from a weapon or item.

Deus Mode - A more advanced synchronization with your godlike powers. This form is extremely powerful and allows for the execution of more powerful techniques, but the form is taxing and can only be maintained for four turns. (turns are played out with each passing of both you and your opponent's move, ex: A1, B1, A2, B2, A3, B3, A4, B4. Where A is your move and B is your opponent's move. B4 will be where your Deus Mode reaches its end.)

Techniques - Techniques that branch from your jurisdiction, you are allowed as many as you can think of.

Weapons - Up to two basic weapons. These can not kill your opponent, even if they are "killed" by these weapons then it will have no impact on their sheet.

Fighting Style - You are allowed up to two fighting styles to start.

Fighting Style Techniques - Allowed as many as you can think of. Please don't make them super long though.

Godly Aspects - Godly abilities that do not fall under your jurisdiction. These can be abilities such as flight or superior strength. You are allowed up to three of these abilities to start. Abilities such as Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Omniscience, etc. are banned.

Items - Any treasures you may have picked up in your travels.

Sealed - This is a special section for The Absolute God if they are using their sheet in another cycle. These items can not be retrieved without the use of an ancestral blessing or rebirth order.



Treasure

Treasures are rewards that are found in dungeons or from killing the wandering wraiths. Rewards are traditionally given by The Absolute God or appointed players. Some will help you and some will hinder you. Treasures are subject to change with each Absolute God, but some may not be changed, these items are marked with a *.
Items marked with a ** may be changed with The Absolute God, if they desire.

*Deicide Weapons - Powerful weapons that are capable of killing gods, each weapon is unique and powerful. Upon receiving the weapon you can create up to seven techniques specifically for the weapon. A deicide weapon is personally forged for The Absolute God, this is the only instance in which a deicide weapon will be precisely the weapon the user desires.

*Deus Armor - Holy armor that allows for the indefinite use of Deus Mode. The armor will also have three qualities/abilities that come with it. Deus armor is personally forged for The Absolute God, again this is the only instance in which the armor will have three abilities of their choosing, every other instance will have its qualities/abilities predetermined.


*Ancestral Blessing - Possibly one of the most useful items in the game, the ancestral blessing is a rare item that will let you retrieve one item from a previous sheet and use it on your current one. It is one of the few items that stays with you once your sheet is remade.

*Rebirth Order - An item that allows the player to escape death only once, such as being killed by a deicide weapon or wandering wraith. This order will also allow you to use a character sheet for another cycle, this can include sheets of the distant past as well, even if they have been previously killed. You will also gain access to their former weapons/items. This will only be for a SINGLE cycle, so once The Absolute God Changes, you must recreate the sheet again.

*Tarot Cards - A series of cards that allow for the casting of unique spells, or provide an additional passive bonus to the character. These are fairly common items and it is encouraged to trade for the ones you want. A standard sparring match of five turns will reward both participants with a single card.
Multiple copies of certain cards can be owned for a stacked effect or offered for trade. If an Ancestral Blessing is used on tarot cards, all tarot cards from that sheet will transfer over to the current one and stack, meaning that the more tarot cards that you can accumulate on a single sheet, the better. In total, there are 78 tarot cards to be discovered, these are divided into 56 minor arcana and 22 major arcana. The major arcana are vastly superior to the minor arcana and their powerful abilities are only matched by their rarity. On some occasions, certain cards have been known to show unique synergy between each other, allowing for even further effects.

*Rapture Crystal - A rare substance that allows you to add an ability/quality to an existing deicide weapon or deus armor. Rapture crystals can only be used on a weapon or armor three times. Seven rapture crystals will allow you to forge a deicide weapon or deus armor. These will be locked to the sheet once the sheet is required to be changed, an ancestral blessing may be used to retrieve all these crystals from a previous sheet, but the weapon or armor will still be bound to the sheet which you forged the weapon for.

**Mark of Mastery - Allows you to learn a secondary jurisdiction. Maximum two jurisdictions.

**New Age Blade - Transforms into an additional weapon and allows you to learn a third fighting style. Maximum three fighting styles.

**Book of Aspects - Allows you to add an additional Godly Aspect to your sheet.

**Destruction Order - In the case of a particularly nasty random oddity, a player can use a destruction order to get rid of it. These items can only destroy your own weapons/items and can be used to destroy an item on a past sheet as well.

**Random Oddities - These are random items given out by The Absolute God only. They usually have negative qualities or are complete duds. Some items will come with insane power, but a heavy price. On rare occasions a good item might pop up.
These items usually change with The Absolute God, known random oddities of the current Absolute God are listed here, some are automatically known, some are not.

Known Random Oddities

Summon Crystal - Crystals that contain unique creatures or pets with random abilities. These creatures are phenomenal battle support and can range in power from extremely weak, to ridiculously powerful. These items are often found under special, difficult, or rare circumstances.

Dimp - By far one of the worst oddities. Dimps are little mischievous halflings that are born from a cross between a devil and an imp, hence the name. Dimps completely seal your jurisdiction powers and are impossible to get rid of without a destruction order or a trade. One advantage to this little monster is that it gives you ridiculous strength, speed, and flexibility in exchange, making it a desirable oddity amongst those fighting-nuts.

Emissary of Regenesis - A form in which White's body grows to titanic proportions and constantly gathers the light of the universe and materializes it as six white wings that are as wide as the sky, the plumes of the wings are actually comprised of a myriad of wings. White is also blindfolded in this form, however his cherubric crown grows to a wide ring that shines like the sun, this further enhances his remaining senses and sets up a sensory radius that makes a mental map on everything the light touches, including living things. This form is designed for powerful light-based attacks and heavy-hitting meant for formidable foes.

Runic Partisan - A simple partisan that is inscribed with runes, this helps to focus its wielder's jurisdiction into projectile attacks. The mirrored edge of the blade glistens in the light.

Veil of Reality - A veil composed of cosmic energies, it shimmers with an ethereal light. The veil is durable and elastic and constantly flows around its wielder, it has a remarkable appearance to soft, filtered, light.

Godly Aspects

Natural Order - White's body constantly emits a radiant wave of "order" this reduces damage by energy-based attacks 20-25% depending on the severity of the attack.

Cherubric Crown - A luminescent halo that hangs behind White's head that constantly stimulates his brain, allowing for split-second analysis and reaction.

Plumes of Protection - A set of six ethereal white wings that promote "life" allowing White to survive in conditions that would otherwise be uninhabitable, such as underwater, in vacuums, etc. This does not include opposing Player Character attacks or skills. The wings are also fully functioning, allowing for flight. The wings are hidden when not in use.

Deicide Weapon ○ Destiny Spear

A spear of unfathomable destruction and ruin. It is a holy spear of light that has the ability to change its form. Each for has its own specific name and ability.

Destiny Spear ○ Seraphiel - This form is incredibly large, the spear is easily the size of a skyscraper, but its massive size comes with incredible weight, making it next to impossible to move.

Destiny Spear ○ Metatron - The spear takes the form of two relatively short lances that wrap themselves in light and allow the user to hover in the air and deliver light, speedy attacks. each swing sends a powerful wave of light following it, stabbing motions provide a powerful piercing effect.

Destiny Spear ○ Lucifer - A powerful one-time form, the wielder wraps their body in light and charges like a massive star that obliterates everything in its path.

Destiny Spear ○ Uriel - A spear with unique capabilities, it wraps its wielder in a white-hot flame A.K.A. Heaven's Flame that can be projected from the spearhead. Upon stabbing a surface, a mark can be placed and infused with the Heaven's Flame and released any time later. The marks disappear once the spear changes form.

Destiny Spear ○ Azrael - A spear focused on powerful strikes imbued with light, this spear's attacks are able to cut and strike things that would otherwise be intangible in nature, for example shadows.

Destiny Spear ○ Barachiel - A fairly standard spear form, it enhances basic combat abilities such as strength, agility, and reflexes.

Destiny Spear ○ Michael - A powerful and reckless spear form, it allows the wielder to wrap themselves in light and travel at light speed for short, quick, bursts. This technique has a one-turn cooldown.



Deus Armor ○ Shroud of Turin

A simplistic armor that is worn like clothing, but strong and flexible. Its variation and unlimited movement make it unique.


Fabric Reform - The fabric can reshape itself, allowing for it to take various forms at the whim of the user, making it easy to substitute for regular clothing. An entire wardrobe all in one!

Hyper Flexibility - The fabric is extremely elastic, allowing it to stretch ridiculously long lengths without losing any of its quality.

Durability Alteration - The fabric can alter its durability, from silken softness to diamond hardness.

Age - Runne's true age is unknown to all but he and his lord, whom Runne has served since his birth into godhood.

Appearance -

History: Since the moment he came into being, Runne has faithfully served the current Absolute God. He has gleefully acted as his lord's main enforcer; delighting in the torture and extermination of all those condemned by his master. He does not consider himself slaved to his lord's will, instead that his will and his master's will aligned in a convenient way. Runne, however, had no desires for lordship, and so was content to act as an extension of his lord's already deadly arsenal.

Personality: Though his appearance would suggest it, Runne is not a mindless butcher. His appearance is the manifestation of his work, of his jurisdiction. Typically, he remains quite calm, rational, and even intellectual, even in the heat combat - provided the combat wasn't an order from his lord. When combat springs from his master's wishes, or when the melee becomes sufficiently dangerous, Runne's personality degenerates into a ravenous, war-mongering beast; without mercy or hesitation.

Jurisdiction - Runne is the slayer of men and gods alike. It is his will, and it is his purpose. It is his only reason for existing, though in serene times he does what he can to resist that terrible purpose. Unfortunately... he's still thinking up what his power will be. So piss off.

Deus Mode - I'm working on it, leave me alone.

Techniques - Shockingly, without a jurisdiction I can't really have any techniques now can I?

Weapons - I'm thinking, leave me alone asshole.

Fighting Style - I'll probably just stick with the one. Haven't decided what that one will be yet, but I'm working on it.

Bone Existence
Omniscence throughout her black-colored bones. Every part of her existance is spread throughout every part of the her incredibly tough and dense bones, making it extremely difficult to kill or destroy her. In addition because of this, she can convert her bones into energy for massively destructive attacks, as well as completely control and shift her bones. Shifting includes size and shape, allowing her to effectively create something larger than herself, although it would be weaker than her normal body. Flesh and organs are an illusory existance, they can dissapear with an illusion covering her, and appear just as suddenly. Because the energy is in fact her very being, it is treated as a living object or being, and is able to destroy/damage metaphysical sentience. (thoughts without bodies, 'ghost forms' that can't be touched, etc. Any opponent who is defeated by the energy gains no rewards, and is inable to remember anything they learned in the battle. )
Deus Mode - Imprints her existence upon the universe. Allows for extreme 'regeneration' of harmed body/bones/existance, even that which she has used. However it is not in fact regeneration, but a law inflicted upon the universe that constantly reverts her body to the way it was when Dues Mode was entered. This means she can not 'heal' more than she started with. Because of the causality breaking nature of this Dues Mode, it lasts only half the duration. However, it can be used twice, as long as there is at least one turn in between uses.


Techniques - Creating bone creatures, weapons, and even splitting up herself. Able to control them from afar. (Specific techniques will be made later to help clarify.)

A weapon that has melded to her soul, effectively becoming part of it. Fully thirty feet in length, it is able to be launched/drawn/stab out partially/whatever from any part of her that is at least the size of a hand. It is also able to recede and move to any other size-appropriate part, but the full length has to be submerged before it can emerge again.

Liberty: See character appearance. A sword with no blade, once it is unsheathed it creates a vortex that draws in any destructive energy around itself. (Only pure energy.) The most usual case is her own energy converted from her bones. This energy can then be used for various techniques.

When about to be used, the sword releases a chorus of a thousand wailing souls in pain. Zessoku's entire essence and is converted to energy and put into the sword, her body dissapearing completely once the sword makes its swing. When it is swung, Zessoku's energy essence is released in a mile long energy swinging motion strike about the width of a small house. Because of the enourmous amounts of her essence in the attack, she is able to reverse the change and make the energy into her bones/herself anywhere within the attack. Because the energy is her, the formation of her new body can not be sensed by many methods. Huge amounts of her body/energy are lost during this technique, and it is often only used in Dues Mode or a smaller beam-slash like attack that uses less essence. The full-power attack cannot be used if Liberty has energy other than hers inside it. Zessoku can leave a 'shell' behind when she uses this to act as a decoy, or to retreive Liberty once the attack has been made.

Godly Aspects
Indefinite Unlimited Processing: Allows Zessoku to think, plan, destroy, and sort the data gathered within her mind. Allows for the best possible reactions and plans she can come up with. A heavy defense against mental attacks. [She can not move or collect new data or anything like that, although there is no limited use of this ability.]

Big Bang Distrubance: A mental ranged ability that disturbs large amounts of gathered force, whether it be kinetic, energy, or otherwise. The force is disturbed, making it harder to control and more chaotic. Although it is unlikely that it was cause the full attack to explode or something, force around the edges would be able to leak out, even in a destructive manner. Effectiveness depends on the type of attack. One of her favorite tricks is to use this on her own large energy attacks, scattering them into smaller ones.

Super Resilience: Medium resistance to physical harm, such as explosive force, physical attacks, and weapons. Small resistance to secondary effects, such as weapon effects, burning/freezing, etc. This includes things like time slowing; she will be slightly less effected. (To put it in numbers, Medium resistance offers 30~40% defense, while small would be 15~20% )

well this is what I have so far

Name - Azmodea

Age -11,000

Appearance -

Jurisdiction -restrain

Deus Mode -

Techniques - chains shoot from his cloak and wrap around the target hilding them in place, when in contact the RESTRAIN the target in all things. he can then chose to do one of a few things
1-capter it for a later date
2-kill it
3-take all of its power
4-bind it to him as his slave
(these work an any thing from flames to dragons to other gods)

Weapons - gauntlets that go up to his elbows, one has a blade the other shotes an infinet amount of arrows

Fighting Style - Hakuda and chains

Fighting Style Techniques - Allowed as many as you can think of. Please don't make them super long though.

Godly Aspects -
he always sees the truth and no one can lie to him
his will can bend most minds
he can resurect the dead by binding them to him

Items - Any treasures you may have picked up in your travels.

Sealed - This is a special section for The Absolute God if they are using their sheet in another cycle. These items can not be retrieved

without the use of an ancestral blessing or rebirth order.
