The Grand Line: Tale of Three Fleets Approval/OOC Thread
Plot: Years after the great pirate era, and the search for the legendary pirate treasure One Piece, Wanted by those pirates who wanted the title of pirate king, a great disaster struck the world. The disaster decimated all the races of the world, driving many to a slow extinction. The humans, though the weakest, survived dude to their vast numbers. The events that transpired during this period of time have been forgotten, and all records of it lost. The world only remembers it as 'the great disaster' due to it's sheer magnitude. Though they survived, even the humans had their numbers thinned by a large margin.
A hundred years before the current time, a man named James Zero (seriously Ryu, you obsessed with MZ or something?) United the lost and scattered people. He Re-Formed the organization known as the marines, which he had learned from some of the remaining ancient records as the defenders of peace and keepers of order. Under his command, the human race once again became plentiful and prosperous, The effects of the disaster slowly beginning to heal and the people slowly coming out of their frightened and disoriented states which they had been in since the disaster.
After the death of James Zero, the remaining new marines quickly became corrupt with the power, beginning to oppress the people, and bringing an end to what the people called 'The Golden age' that Zero had brought about. In the Present time, Those that have become fed up with the oppression and strive for freedom became pirates, whose legends continued to this day. These 'new pirates' United to Form the Free Kings, and Fought for their Freedom against the oppressive Marines.
James Zero, Disappointed in his heirs who have defiled his legacy and the name of the marines, Returns to the land of the living, through a contract with the god's of death (shinigami) He forms the 'Meru' with a rgoup of like-minded and powered people, in order to bring back the peace and order he'd strived so much to bring about in the first place.

History: A shinigami in training. That was what she used to be, and all she used to be. It was normal, and so was she. But then the news of Zero's new shinigami squad showed up. The corrupt government. Etcetera.
It blew a fuse, somewhere. Revya rampaged about, killing shinigami with a training sword. She hadn't earned her own Zanpakuto yet. But surprise and fear was on her side. Such a crazed look had never been seen.
She escaped to Marines. Bribed her way into their ranks with information. Ate a Devil Fruit. One that had newly been discovered. One that made the Yami Yami no Mi one of the most Angelic fruits out there.
And with this new fruit she rose through the ranks, in a tyranical manner that scared people into submission. The only reason she wasn't betrayed or executed, fired or sent away... was her insanity. They knew something like that would set her off. And they would have a revolution, a Coup d'état, a massacre. With no clue who the enemies were. Who their allies were.
Personality: Evil. Crazy Evil. Destruction is fun. She likes fun. Even if it destroyed her city, everyone she knew. Even if it destroyed the world. Even if it destroyed everything, even herself, she would do it for fun. People annoy her. They're stupid. Sentiments are worthless, though it's pretty damn sweet watching a person in pain. 'Specially when they see their best friend get killed. Oh, and when people give her things, that's nice. With their broken hands... caved in skulls... it's really nice when those people give her things.

Fruit name: Gig Gig no Mi Type: Paramechia Power: Domination. Revya has the ability to dominate others, even animals. Should they give consent, even if forced, even if beaten to a point of confusion, even if they don't know what the gist of it is, they become 'dominated.' Those who do are able to be summoned from anywhere, and are forced to fight, unable to turn against the dominator. Abilities, both Physical and otherwise, are amplified while summoned; with Revya's physical abilities being permanantly amplified. In addition, Revya is able to form a group of 8 other people called a 'Room.' Her physical power is furthur amplified based on the other member's strength, although it scales partially with size. [A giant would give a larger boost to strength/endurance than a human, but it would be more superhuman than like a Giant in human form.]
The only way to escape domination is pure force of will against Revya, which she usually deals with beforehand through... methods. Or if Revya can just cancel the domination if she feels like it. Probably would kill them afterwards while they're basking in their new freedom. 'Cause that'd be pretty funny.

Teeth and claws are rather dangerous, but not razor-sharp.

Appearance: History: A genius from an early age with the name Yuuki Yamoto, he adapted to the cruel rule of the now corrupt Marines. With no devil fruits available, he turned to protect his family, his community, his island with technology. With a stroke of genius and even more luck, he developed the Stryker units and gave the Marines immense trouble.
Until Revya showed up. Pretending to be shipwrecked and hunted, and oh so innocent. She got close to him, becoming a friend. Summoning grunts to bond while fighting with him, and talking about a false life of peace she could have lived if she wasn't so batshit crazy and tired of everything. She didn't mention that last part, of course. Eventually she discovered a shink in his armor. Haruna. The person who inspired him to be a hero. The girl who he loved.
Needless to say, Revya ****ed her up and kidnapped her. Promised Dengeki she'd release Haruna if he submitted. [To domination.] He did. Revya released Haruna. Dengeki, seeing her safely run away, attacked Revya... and his fist stopped an inch away. He couldn't attack.
And that's when Revya summoned Haruna back. And told Dengeki to beat her to a pulp. Needless to say, it scarred both of them. Too ridden with guilt of harming his greatest friend and his love, he was too weak to resist domination. More and more evil deeds that he was forced to do have furthur weakened his will.
Personality: Rightous and believes in clear justice and evil. He wants to be on the side of justice, of course. A regular hero. Yen: 0 Rank: Dog Position: Right Frontlines. Class: Plain Haki Level: 15 Notable Traits: Master at Technological Weapons; Creator of Stryker Units Weapons: Stryker Units. Canisters of pure electric energy that can be inserted into a gauntlet-like machine on either of his arms. Only one technique can be used at a time. Stryker Techniques:
Flight: Uses residual electricity in the air to streamline the user and agitate the air around them, moving them forward. Ineffective above large bodies of water or other moisture-rich enviorments.
Shusui: Channels high-voltage electrical current into a blade for the wielder. Burns/Paralyzes what it can't cut.
Hyaku-Shiki: Channels high-plasma electricity into the fist, giving a punch with explosive power behind it.
Shinden: Charges the fist with electricity, to agitate and stir surrounding ambient electricity, gathering it in the sky above him. After ten seconds of charging, a lightning storm is released, shooting at target point within mid-range. Distance decreases power.
Tenrai: Turns the end of the gauntlet into a cannon, which then fires a blast of electricity. A direct hit will blast and burn a person. The residual electricity that emits from the blast can paralyze nearby biologicals and shortcircuit machinery.
Senden: Increases the transmission of electric signals inside the body, pushing it to its peak. Greatly increases reaction speed.

Appearance: History: Dengeki Stryker's childhood friend. He was her only friend. Because her parents were better off than most people, she was often teased. Bullied. Hurt. But every time, Yuuki Yamato, the future Dengeki Stryker, would jump in. He never really beat them... but that was okay. He always saved her. Always.
Even when they were betrayed by Revya. She was saved... Or at least, that's what she thought. Punch. Punch. Punch. Why... why was he doing this? Why was he hurting her...
Haruna awoke in a dark, confined space. A coffin, burried underground. A whispered voice told her that everything was a dream. She whimpered, relieved, asking if Yuuki was okay? Of course it was a dream. He would never hurt her. Yuuki who? Yuuki Yamato! But that person doesn't exist. Of course he does! He doesn't. He never saved you. Always hurt you. No one saved you.
Days... months. Air was let in. Gruel was poured on her crying face. But never light. Never fresh air. Always stagnant. With whisperings that there was nothing happy in her life. There had never been. All the happy memories... they had to be forgotten. They never happened.
Eventually Haruna gave in. Life was pointless. Her parents had killed themselves because of her. The only reason Stryker acted like he liked her was because it would make him feel better while he betrayed her again. And she was the only one like this. She was the only one with no happiness. No happy memories. The only one who couldn't be happy.
The one exception is Revya. Haruna fears her naturally, and the woman is in every way a god to her. There is a clear Master and Servant relation, and Haruna would likely follow commands out of fear, even if she wasn't forced to do so.

Gotenrai: A massively destructive charge attack in the form of a growing sphere. Rather than gather electrons, it rips them from the atoms in the air, creating a largely unstable reaction. The heat from the reaction is stolen, and added to the gathering electrons to increase their speed. The area is condensed as multiple layers of the sphere, causing the electrons to grind against each other, causing more power and instability. Enough so that even a logia, even a lightning/electricity logia, would be shredded apart. If they'd recover at all, it would take a long while for their pieces to reassemble.
Once fully charged and unleashed, Gotenrai sears and disintegrates in a massive shockwave that spreads out for half a mile. It travels along the earth, scorching the ground. It climbs up and disintegrates anything near the shockwave. Of course, anything caught in the initial sphere before it hits the ground is as good as gone. Takes three minutes to charge. If interupted while charging, Gotenrai dissapears completely. Cannot be used within a mile of another succesfully used Gotenrai within a week.

Appearance: History: Background History unknown. Indeterminate of whether male or female. All the history known begins from when Revya picked the kid from off the street, calling him/her Jack. She raised 'it' for a while. In a pretty affectionate manner, despite how much Revya wanted it to be otherwise.
Then sold the kid off for a few nights. Whatever gender, the kid was good-looking. After that, Revya took Jack back. Asked Jack what his/her happy place was. What would be the best thing ever. Then Revya made that dearest wish come true. To every last detail. Enough so that Jack even forgave her.
And then Revya summoned those that had violated the kid before. And she watched and laughed as it happened all over again, right in the midst of what had been Jack's happiest moment.
Once more, Revya asked what the kid's happy place was. A ninja. That sings and dance, and writes and diary and fights crime and disturbs the piece and shoots lasers... and... fires water...
Yep. Jack was broken. But in the good way. Still functioning... just not right in the head. What's more, he/she was funny as hell!

Appearance: History: Raised on a near-deserted island with his sister, Nanami, and father. The father was exiled, having commited a grevious deed while the Marines was still in its "Golden Age." The father was a much-fear man, even though he never ate a Devil Fruit. It is because of his fearsome martial arts.
And with nothing better to do, those fearsome martial arts were passed down to his son. In a 'practice' spar, Shichika killed his father. That was how things were expected to go, in any case. The spars were serious. The only thing resembling a 'spar' was that they stopped one one person was injured past being able to continue.
Revya landed on the island two years after the event. She had dug up some old records, working to dominate some strong people. The master of Hand-to-Hand had naturally come to mind. She bribed the clueless man with world domination, revenge, everything. But he denied it all and refused to help. Or at least, that's what Revya thought. He finally agreed, because 'He fell in love with her.'
Revya never returned the feelings, but that was fine.

Appearance: History: Background History unknown. Indeterminate of whether male or female. All the history known begins from when Revya picked the kid from off the street, calling him/her Jack. She raised 'it' for a while. In a pretty affectionate manner, despite how much Revya wanted it to be otherwise.
Then sold the kid off for a few nights. Whatever gender, the kid was good-looking. After that, Revya took Jack back. Asked Jack what his/her happy place was. What would be the best thing ever. Then Revya made that dearest wish come true. To every last detail. Enough so that Jack even forgave her.
And then Revya summoned those that had violated the kid before. And she watched and laughed as it happened all over again, right in the midst of what had been Jack's happiest moment.
Once more, Revya asked what the kid's happy place was. A ninja. That sings and dance, and writes and diary and fights crime and disturbs the piece and shoots lasers... and... fires water...
Yep. Jack was broken. But in the good way. Still functioning... just not right in the head. What's more, he/she was funny as hell!

Appearance: History: Raised on a near-deserted island with his sister, Nanami, and father. The father was exiled, having commited a grevious deed while the Marines was still in its "Golden Age." The father was a much-fear man, even though he never ate a Devil Fruit. It is because of his fearsome martial arts.
And with nothing better to do, those fearsome martial arts were passed down to his son. In a 'practice' spar, Shichika killed his father. That was how things were expected to go, in any case. The spars were serious. The only thing resembling a 'spar' was that they stopped one one person was injured past being able to continue.
Revya landed on the island two years after the event. She had dug up some old records, working to dominate some strong people. The master of Hand-to-Hand had naturally come to mind. She bribed the clueless man with world domination, revenge, everything. But he denied it all and refused to help. Or at least, that's what Revya thought. He finally agreed, because 'He fell in love with her.'
Revya never returned the feelings, but that was fine.
