The Serres Region - Cities



Shandora City
A city built into nature itself. On the outskirts of the forest and leading into the mountain ranges, Shandora City is a city with many mysteries and elegance. The city is very high tech despite it's remoteness.

Cape York City
A massive metropolis built into the mountain cliff. This iconic city stretches from the base of the mountain to it's peak. It is said that the city usually suffers sheer winds because of the high altitude.

San Fior
A metropolis that is at the basin of the mountain ranges. A high tech city with many theme parks the city is home to the entertainment industry. Famous places such as Pokewood and Movieworld are just some of the attractions available at San Fior. The city is home to the most beautiful model in all of the Serres Region, Mio Akiyama.

Seanami City
The largest city in the Serres region! This grand city is full of water and water type pokemon trainers. The city's gym leader is no exception. However getting to this city is no easy task, not to mention the gym which is floating on the island's highest fountain!

City of Fiore
A small but peaceful city sitting at the base of the gateway to the Pokemon League. Close to the city is the famous volcano Mount Doom and the Trio of Lakes. The City is said to be a holy city and guarded by many legendary Pokemon. There is a legend that the legendary Pokemon Ho-Oh was born in this very city.

The Serres Region - Other Locations

Green Island
An known Island off the cost near Route 5. Not much is known about the island but it is said to be home to many rare pokemon.

Rock Cave
An undiscovered cave off Route 4. It is said the cave is located in the ruins of an ancient civilisation. Because of it's remoteness, the cave is still very much undiscovered.

The Serres Region Plot Outline

Embark Town
Event: Receive your starting pokemon from professor DV

Route 1
Event: A passing old man will offer you an egg. The egg may contain the legendary pokemon Phione or one of the other possible egg pokemon

Shandora Forest (Route 2)
Event(s):
- A special portal opens and you are sucked into it. You appear in what seems to be the same forest. A loud rumbling noise can be heard and suddenly two pokemon hunters appear before you, they move on searching for something. Then from behind you, the legendary pokemon Celebi appears, the pokemon however appears to be hurt. You have two choices, to protect the Celebi by defeating the pokemon hunters or attempt to catch the Celebi yourself before the hunters find Celebi.
- You've discovered the ancient ruins and awaken a unique pokemon, Sigilyph. You must defeat it in order to continue your journey. After defeating it you have the choice of capturing it thought it will not be easy even after being defeated.
- Rumors say about an evil Ninjask that attacks random bystanders at will. If you happen to run into him he will cause one of your pokemon to faint. After running into him twice, you are able to catch up with him and battle him, with a chance of capturing him afterwards.

Shandora City (Gym 1)
Event(s): None of Importance

Mount Zero (Route 3)
Event(s):
- A sudden comet strikes mount zero whilst you are hiking. The strike leaves you stranded on the mountain. As you look for a place to spend the night you see a shining light in the distance. It’s a Jirachi. The pokemon seems dazed as it has just awoken from its slumber.
- An old man seems to be digging and looking for something. He finds a rather rare rock but he immediately dismisses it and tosses it away. Keep the rock?

Route 4 (Cycling Route)
Event(s):
- You fall from your bike and slide down a hill. As you recover, a mysterious man appears and challenges you to a battle. You must defeat him. After defeating him, he gives you his weakest pokemon.
- You stray of course and suddenly find yourself in a rocky terrain and lost from the original route, turn back?
- Rock Cave
- A dark unknown cave surrounded by ruins which has yet to be discovered in the middle of nowhere.

Cape York City (Gym 2)
Event(s):
- As you enter the city you hear rumours of a flying pokemon that has been wandering the streets of the mythical city. And old man asks you whether you have seen this pokemon and you respond no. The old man tells you that it’s a legendary pokemon and says that he thinks it’s blue or red. He asks for your opinion on what pokemon it could be. You don’t know. That very night as you are asleep you hear a rather loud noise, as you stare outside you see a sudden pokemon fly quickly by; you manage to catch a small glimpse of it. The next day you go back to the old man and he asks you whether the pokemon was blue or red. You answer with blue, red or neither. That very night you stay up hoping to catch a glimpse of the pokemon again, you hear another loud sound and this time you run quickly to the source of the sound. Upon arriving at the scene you see an injured pokemon and two men in black coats. Could they be responsible for what has been going on lately?

Route 5
Event(s):
- You find a statue, at the base of statue contains 3 pokeballs each wrapped in a cloth. One is red, one is blue and one is green. You may only choose one.
- You suddenly encounter an Entei, you have 3 choices, to battle it, attempt to catch it or just leave it.

Forest of No Return (Route 6)
Event(s):
- You enter the infamous Forest of no Return and suddenly you stray off the path into the wilderness. You are afraid and terrified. You suddenly see a cave and decide to approach it. Once inside you decide whether to proceed or not, do you proceed?
- You find a temple in the forest, the temple is in ruins and inside looks like more ruins, investigate the ruins?

San Fior (Gym 3)
Event(s):
- Upon entering the city you decide to explore the nearby regions. You leave the city but get lost as you try and return. You stumble across a cave that seems to be blocked, use a Pokémon to move the debris?

Great River (Route 7)
Event(s):
- You run into a seemingly abandoned boat. After getting on, you discover that there's a Team Galactic member trying to clone legendary pokemons by using samples of their DNA. He succeeded however they are weak and nowhere near the glory of the real ones. Still, can you take him on?
- A fisherman runs into you and offers you a pokeball with a pokemon inside for 1000BP. He describes the pokemon as the 'Lord of the Pokemon'. Will you take his offer?

Seanami City (Gym 4)
Event(s):
- Whilst staying in the city you hear of rumours of a secret organisation operating within the city walls. An informant informs you that the organisation is known as Team Nova, a secret organisation aiming to capture the most powerful and rare pokemon in order to use them to rule the world. You learn that recently the city’s water supply has been dwindling; you suspect there is something wrong. The informant informs you that there are three suspicious places, one is the city water sewage, the second the city’s famous grand casino and the third is the abandoned harbour warehouse. You must choose to inspect one of these locations and verify whether the rumours are true or not.
- A mysterious man suddenly approaches you and informs you have won the lucky lottery as he hands you a pass. The pass is for a sea cruise, the cruise is to a paradise known as Freya Island, a grand resort and holiday destination in the Serres region. He tells you the cruise leaves for Freya Island tomorrow and that he wishes you a pleasant trip. He leaves with a suspicious and evil laugh; do you want to board this cruise?
- A random sailor tells you that recently there has been weird sounds coming out from the lighthouse, he is too scared to inspect the lighthouse himself as he has no pokemon. Inspect this lighthouse?

Seanami Bay (Route 8)
Event(s): None of Importance

Blue Sea (Route 9)
Event(s):
- You surf off course and find yourself stranded in a small series of archipelagos, you find a small cave entrance, explore the cave?
- You find a small waterfall towards the side of a cliff and decide to scale it, upon scaling it you enter a mysterious cave with a heavy torrent, it washes you and your pokemon downstream into the cold cave. You have no choice now but to explore the cave and find a way out.

City of Fiore (Gym 5)
Event(s):
- A man tells you of a mountain nearby with tons of fire type pokemon and rumours of a legendary fire type living in the mountain caves. Do you wish to explore this mountain range?
- You meet a mysterious trainer who tells you that nearby there is a lake with powerful pokemon, intrigued you decide to explore the lake only to find a bunch of Team Nova grunts, they look they are to no good, teach them a lesson?

Route 10
Event(s):
- You meet the City of Fiora gym leader and he informs you that he is inspecting an off limits section of the route. He asks if you want to come along. Do you want to come along?

Victory Road
Event(s):
- Upon winding your way through the victory road you suddenly come across a waterfall, scale the waterfall?
