Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of each a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch. Soul Eater is an anime that centers around meisters and their weapons and their mission to collect 99 evil souls and 1 witch soul. Upon doing that the meister's weapons will become a Deathscythe, which is the highest title for a weapon. Maka, Soul Eater, Black Star, Tsubaki, Death the Kid, and Patty and Liz Thompson are the characters Soul Eater revolves around. Besides taking the time to gather souls these students of Shibusen defend Death City from some of the most powerful of creatures while still attending school and trying to become stronger.

Pretty good show, I like that the situation at hand is always resolved at the end of the episode. Well except for the whole black blood in Soul Eater.

yeah and it should come out a little faster i read the manga cause i couldn't wait anymore and now i am waiting for the next anime ep and the next manga chapter

My 1st sight, This anime has a very good protental, can easily be one of the best show out there. Very very interesting and original art work, Especially the sun and the moon, they are GREAT!. Never seen anything quite like it. The fighting sences are TOP of the line, I have not seen fighting sence that good for a LONG TIME. Does NOT talk forever before a fight. . The characters are VERY interesting, well drawn, their facal and body expessions are displayed lively. The "being silly" parts are GREAT, funny as hell, easy laugh. the story line makes perfect sense, it develops, and it is very funny and interesting. The music is not bad, not a break through tho.
For the first 13 eps that i have seen so far, i will give this anime a 9.5/10.
One of the best show i have seen.

Im watching soual eater right now, decent anime. Not as good as Death Note...

Soul Eater is.... exceptional. The story line is smooth, and not very choppy. For the main characters... black star is super duper annoying. Wish they would have made him stop saying BIG all the time. And Maka And Soul eater... are weak. I dont like weak main characters. Other than that i give it a 7/10
