without the voice, color, and aminations, you cant really tell what is going on. the art work are too similar. The characters look SO MUCH ALIKE, especially Zero and his brother, and the vampires at the school. you have to guess who is actually talking when u read the manga because their faces look so much alike. and the art work is rather confusing also, hardly able to tell what is happening during a fight.

And that is the main reason why vampire knight isnt very popular, because of its confusing art work.
Stick with with anime, much better than the manga. the anime is gona be successful, but i have little faith for the manga

Actually i have to disagree with you completely, the manga in my point of view is much better than the anime, the manga has a larger fanbase, for a good reason, me being an anime and manga fan, i would say the quality of the art in the anime is no match for the manga, and same goes for the structure of the script is well written, i don't think its confusing at all... well that is my humble opinion, i guess i do love manga ...
