Although I can see where people are coming from with this, I think that comparing Code Geass to Death Note is a bit of a stretch. Yes, they both have a brilliant guy that has been given a great power. Yes, they both do acts of evil in the name of good under an alter ego, but that is where the similarities really end. Lelouch has come to realize that his actions can have consequences for the innocent and he is fully aware that he is not all powerful and is willing to ask others for help. (At least until Schniezel made it look like Suzaku betrayed him.) Light, on the other hand, was guilty of first degree hubris, declaring himself a god by the end of the first episode, and was quite frankly, cuckoo for cocoa puffs. (brilliance and madness are often two sides of the same coin) And anyways, they are both great shows.
Also, I don't think that there will be a third season. The 3rd Law of Mecha states that "The antagonist army's ultimate wepon (usually, but not this time, in the form of a ridiculously oversized laser cannon in space) must be used for the first time within the last few episodes (Or TURNS, we are not going down that road again this week) in order to establish the rising action to a climax." *phew* Soooo...which characters do you think are the most likely to die before this is all over? |

hmmmm...... Lelouch teams up with suzaku kills off the knights of the round. Kills off lelouch's "dad". Everyone accepts Lelouch as the new king.
And they all live happily ever after. THE END. Dam i'm good at this >.< |
