I first saw DBZ like... 1 or 2 years ago. I never got into it as a kid, even though some of my friends were.

and i downloaded all eps and movies when i first got my new computer

Is this Japanese Sub or English Dub? All the animes are best watched in Japanese with Sub but I think DBZ is an exception. Goku's voice is just too frigging annoying in Jap. An old woman does his voice - literally. WHY WOULD YOU DO tHAT XD So I ended up watching DBZ in English Dub lol

I'm up to date with DBK and they don't bother me anymore.

Ocean group had different voices, cut a lot of the earlier filler, and added their own sound effects. Starting in '99, the dub switched to funimation's own voice actor group based in Texas. After the frieza saga, ocean group dubbed the international release of DBZ, while funimation continued to do it in the US. The international release, however, suffered from low budgets, was rushed, and many of the voice actors changed. A few years ago, funimation redubbed the original episodes ocean did, so you can always watch those if you want to hear the newer voices. With that said, many people, such as myself, prefer the original 53 ocean dubbed episodes over them. Just to note, the infamous "over 9000!" comes from the original ocean dubbed episodes.

Lol... It brings back memories. When i was in kindergarten my uncle who was an exchange student in Tokyo used to record and bring back DBZ episodes which were airing in Japan at the time. Although I didn't understand the language, it was still hella fun XD.
Then I watched the FUNimation Eng Dub versions in Australia which was also really good. It is definitely one of the best animes for me
