That's actually a point that I like. I loved how they made him die in the most dishonorable way possible, forced to commit suicide by the master that he gave his loyalty.

Music to my ears. I'm not surprise though, that's just typical Gen anime; Phantom, MSMM and Blassreiter...all his shows have a tendency to turn dark midway.
