Yeah Nez is more flirty then he is also more experienced which has been made apparent by actions and comments. Although he dresses up as a girl for plays he would still be the seme. A movie would be good if it is gonna finish the story and not be something totally seperate from the story like other anime movies. I have checked official pages before too but I never see anything about new seasons in their news section or anything, I translate the pages with bing. oh just read something interesting apparently according to the author the 1st kiss was Sion freaking out about his feelings for Nez and he kissed him not romantically but more to test those feelings like an experiment (not a goodbye kiss exactly) but now the second kiss in v5 if you want to know Spoiler

oh added to my previous post Kann go look ![]() Oh I found a better description of that second incident but if it goes that way then I am assuming it does not actually happen at least not at that point, so has shonen ai tone but don't think there will be much seen of it. I won't post the conversation they have according to what I read unless someone wants me to.

Actually I've already read the 1st kiss scene as it went in the novel (there's a fan translation up on someone's blog just for that scene). The context was hard to figure out (My best guess is that Inukashi's dog attack went differently and Sion saw Nez getting a dog bite or two), but it was completely clear that the kiss came out of the blue except that Nez says something flirty AND something very sweet right before Sion leans in. But there's the exact same flirty response from Nez as they put in the anime. btw I can't wait to find out what Sion's talking about with that one line that can be interpreted in so many ways: Spoiler One thing I know though... Spoiler

the author of the novel said that Sion was overwhelmed with his feelings for Nez so decided to act as a test why the kiss was sudden experimental and why it did not seem romantic but then he said it was a goodnight kiss lol but the second sounds more interesting and you are right about your spoiler but I won't say nothing else on it right now.

Thanks for the intel on what Asano had to say about that kiss. But in my opinion, it was still very romantic. Especially considering the things Nezumi said right before that, and the way in which he voices the last three words of it. <3 It was just that it's a spontaneous thing in the book, and a little clumsy (which I thought was adorable), whereas the kiss in the anime was like this thing Sion planned out carefully along with that little speech about how Nez had changed him and he realised he had "all sorts of emotions." It's much more natural the way it goes in the book, imo. Especially considering how it relates to Nezumi's harsh words from right after Sion first said "I'm drawn to you" (which gives a clearer view of one of the reasons for Nez' trust issues). As you know, Nez also goes into his speech about how Sion saving his life was such a big thing to him way earlier, not long after Sion's arrives there, instead of the next morning after the kiss. So they really took liberties with ep 7's content.

Oh I think it was romantic in the sense of why he did it and how Nez felt about it, but like you said it was clumsy as Sion was new to that sort of thing which is why I think the author said he was experimenting with the feelings he did not know what to do with lol. It is very sweet. Obession always seems to be a part of bl and as you can tell Sion has an obsessive feeling about Nez and really it goes both ways. Sion is just more openly obvious about it. Notes another reason I think a certain way about another series "cough" ![]() Oh yeah where did you read the first kiss scene as the novel I have only seen tranlated up to where Safu shows up to talk to Sion's mom, other then that I have seen some spoilers.

Oh my... what other series could you possibly be referring to? lol... I've seen the 1st kiss scene translated in two places actually: • Here (first one I read) • and Here. (volume-by-volume summaries with some translations of key scenes) Yup, the obsession goes both ways. Sion is just the only one who's direct and open about it. The scene in which he tells Nez he's drawn/attracted to him (in the book, not the anime) is a hilariously good example. Spoiler

Interesting they did not show Nezumi crying either in the anime. His comments about Sion's looks/flirtiness are more apparent lol. They should of put the cry scene in there too.

I agree it's lame they left out Nezumi's tears. But I think it's much worse that they cut the "I'm attracted to you" scene so short. The second link has the scene from the next morning in it too. Going to read that later on but I bet it won't be much different from the anime this time. *edit* I guess considering they cut out so much of the humour from the books and made the series more serious, it makes some sense they'd get rid of that exchange but it's such a good indicator of where the two of them stand at the time. No excuse for skipping Nez' tears tho. It would have fit very easily in that ep.
