Based on the XBOX 360 game The iDOLM@STER 2, The iDOLM@STER follows 13 aspiring idols aiming to reach their goals.

I have been looking forward to an anime featuring an semi-biographical premise regarding people behind the series we have been watching like real seiyuus, director, producers and other staffs.

This anime seems like a good start of what I have been looking for but I doubt that they can make the best out of every character since we are confronted with lots of them, considering 13 + the producer himself and with only a few episode alloted for this series. So this anime might go for an episodic advancement.

Leaving expectations for now, the anime's introduction(1st episode) was creative and spot on to show their own unique personalities.

Also, I admire A-1 Pictures for using REAL ASPIRING cast of voice actress because if you try to look at the seiyuus, they are really beginners. Of course with the exception of Kugimiya whom I recognize for the arrogant tsundere voice and Asami for playing the role of Christina/The Zombie/Kurisu in Steins;Gate.

So far all the songs were bad for me but the song for the latest episode was really good.

Seems like not many people watch this series.

Ep 21's ED was nice too. They seem to be saving the nicer songs for the episodes nearer to the end of the series. Chihaya seems to be getting the better songs too as seen in the past few episodes and also in ep 22. Maybe its cause she has the best vocals among the rest.

Its kinda sad that the idols can't be together as much as they used to.
