I thought Mana was already gone when Shuu drew the void out of that flower. BTW Since that flower didn't keep on growing and get joined by other flowers, I automatically assumed he was going to draw Inori's void out of it. Since voids are parts of Mana, maybe he got Inori's actual "heart," though?

As for why Keido killed himself, I thought it was a combination of apology and "It doesn't matter anyway because I'm not going to be part of the next stage of evolution," but when I think about it, he should have known already that the "evolution" plan was halted. So now I'm just with the "apology" theory.

i thought he killed himself cause he felt bad which is basically the same thing lol : D

overall i give GC an 8/10

story 7: the first episodes were really poor and seem'd too slow to me. People complain about Cliché's alot i dont know why but they do. If you think about it every show has them. Characters were really good in the anime( 1st half not so much but when the 2nd half came around it was wayyy better). i just think 2 more episodes would benefit the story better and not feel rushed for the ifnal 2 episodes.

music/sound 9: i love the music in the anime : O idk why i just did it was really well done throughout the whole anime. ( didnt like the first OP but i was not basing my scores off of just the OP's and ED's)

animation/art 10: this anime was beautiful : O the animation was really good and everything looked smooth

idk why i decided to give it some scores maybe im just bored

It looked like Mana died when Shu used the void on Gai but meh I liked watching this just was not that impressed with the ending.

My favorite arc/sub arc if you can call it that, King Shu Reigns Supreme...

yeah seen pics just waiting on doujin's not that I have really been looking for then either we did not see enough of how their relationship was in the past or that much developement in present for me to care that much, there are many guys in yaoi that look like Gai so without the connection it really does not make the doujin's matter that much, I don't like doujin's or fanfic if there is not really much to base it on or nothing at all. Not into made up relationships :/

Well you could also say he killed himself because he couldn't live with the mistakes he'd made. Which is a little bit more accurate, I think.

Of course every series has them. The problem is that this series depended on them, and left the necessity for their existence (at least partially) unexplained as well.

It was interesting to read your scores. I'm deciding between 7 and 8 overall right now, myself. (Leaning toward 7.) But on each individual area you mentioned, I'd probably give the same scores you did.

i also give it 7..the begin was really bad.i almost quit watching it at episode 7-8 ..but i kept watching since there was many question left unanswered .
and the rushed ending as well...
i think i would enjoy it more on light novel ,than an anime that would skip alot of important parts...

Manna's "dancing" part was a little bit annoying..dunno..

Gai choose to be "evil" for Shu's sake ..but he still died

I was touched when Daryll was saved by *forgot the name* ---

Inori died too

Dunno if the ending was really that sad --it makes me cry or maybe because of the song played in the background

Gai choose to be evil to save Mana that was his purpose. He knew Shu would come to stop him. He said it himself he would become the devil himself if it would save Mana.

I liked it cause even though he was evil it was still for a good reason he wanted to save mana. Which would stop Daath from ever trying to cause the apocalypse again.

The only thing I didn't like is that Gais reasoning for doing all this was full of holes. There were many more ways to go about doing what he wanted that would have been safer.
