Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate follows the protagonist Yuuki Oojima, who attends Private Takafuji Academy, a large school with over 6,000 students. Yuuki is a member of the food research club, along with seven others, including his childhood friend Chisato Sumiyoshi.

The members leisurely spend their time in the club not doing much activities. When the election of the next student council president comes up, the front runner Satsuki Shinonome proposes that clubs that have no merit should be sorted out and abolished. The food research club seeks advice from the current student council president Yakumo Mori, who suggests Yuuki run in the election as an opposing candidate. Yuuki learns about the issues facing the school and decides to run in the election.

Firstly, the OP and ED are catchy.

Now on to my first thoughts. I am rather confused as to which direction this series is going. I have a feeling that it will be a harem and light-hearted series for the most of it but that scenes in the beginning sort of signal something darker than what meets the eyes. Going to have to watch a few more to find out.

Ps: I see Amagami SS character designs in this.

This anime looks very interesting and fun too.
There are a lot of girls, but the guys aren't bad either.
The whole "yaoi stick" chocolate snack thing was ROFL
Looks like chocolate & sweets aren't the only thing that's going on.
Attack incident from the beginning of the episodes looked promising.
Disbanding clubs and the election sure gave them something to be fired up about.
Will give this one a try.

First episode was very promising and I kinda like it. So the MC can see stuffs that others can't see, hmm... interesting. I'll put it on my watching list for now.

hmm.. this was originally an eroge.. but i hope the anime will be better than the game.. OP & ED were really good!! i hope for this series to remain as a good anime..

Flashback to their childhood was sweet.
So their club will be shut down if they don't run for and win the elections.
No surprise they were pushing Yuuki to run for student council president.
Those girls sure like their club, but I it's no wonder ^^
Oojima seriously lacked resolve and motivation.
Shinonome made a difference and managed to persuade him to fight.

I started watching this and was left confused and very interested in the show after the beginning followed by the opening intro that seemed to clash with the stuff before the intro. Then shortly into the show they where censoring panty shots so I stopped watching all together.

I could understand some censoring of nudity but if after the beginning where it seemed someone got killed if they are going to sensor panty shots then are they also going to sensor blood latter? So I am going to wait awhile tell a uncensored version comes out to watch this.

Though I didn't get very far in so if this show also has heavy nudity latter I may not care to watch this at all. Mild ecchi I don't mind and like but when it gets too much it bothers me.

Somehow im getting some Maji-koi and Oretachi no Tsubasa wa nai vibe from this series. So many female characters and lots of dialogues.

So after the 2nd episode, its still harem mode and havent touched on the dark elements of the show that i was anticipating after the first scene of the first episode.
