Them pokemon legends look like monsters to me. Yes, it's also true that most digimon look like monsters in their champion stage. When they turn into mega form, that's a whole different story!
P.S. Some legendary pokemon are as big and tall as some digimon in mega form.
For example: Wargreymon and Mewtwo, I think they almost identicle in height.
