Well what if you've broken hearts and had your own broken?

I've had mine broken and I've apparently broken others. I'm very sceptical about how people throw the word broken around though.

I always imagined that you couldn't recover from a broken heart...I've had mine hurt but not broken.

Is there a difference? It hurt either way and some can recover pretty well I guess.
