Default Clocktower RP

The Story

Clocktower - the headquarters and main branch of the world-famous Mage's Association, a trans-national, self-preservative organization created by western magi for the purpose of controlling, concealing and developing Magecraft. Founded around the Middle Ages by those who foresaw the decline of Magecraft, they decided that in order to preserve their power Thaumaturgy should drift apart from society and become a secret known only by a necessary minimum number of people. Here at Clocktower resides an academy for training young magi to become powerful and influential members of the Mage's Association. However, something sinister lurks behind the scenes, something that threatens to destroy not only the peaceful atmosphere of the academy, but the very foundations of the Mage's Association.

This rp will take place in four arcs, each spanning a year at the Academy.

Personality: Fayline is confident and upbeat, always sure of herself and her abilities. She is a bit of a free spirit and rather flirtatious, commonly using her charm and beauty as a way to bribe males, which usually ends successfully. Despite her lovable nature, when in a fight, Fayline can be cruel and deadly, going as far as killing any magus who threatens her own life. She is a loyal person and does not go back on her word.
History: Fayline is the descendent of the highly famous Eldritch family of magi. She, however, wants to be famous for her own skills and thus does not use her family name. She had a brother, who's magical abilties were exceptional, but he disowned the family when she was still young, causing her to be brought up as the Eldritch family's heir. She has come to Clocktower to study magic, but secretly hopes to learn more of her brother's disappearance.

Personality: Cornelia is aggressive, resourceful and competitive against those she sees wordy, she does not care much about family names, but because of how her own family was trashed cause of her father's failure she activity tries to be in the good side of the new generation of magus.

Daughter of the great magus Cornelius Alba, she was most shock when the new of her father's death and failure had begone to fly around, now in an attempt to bring back honor in to her family name, she enrolled in to The Clock Tower.
Before entering the clock tower she used many of her family contacts and magecraft to get as much information on who's families would be in her same class, she was incredibly surprised by the amount of famous families that would be there, most precise Tohsaka who were an extreme old family with connections to the great Zelretch and Morto another extreme old family that was thought to have disappeared with the last generation, although it seemed that the only member of the family was in a special condition.

Begrenzt Bereich Der Verzweiflung:
A bounded field of security, its mechanism work on reading those inside of it intentions, if any trace of danger can be felt they will automatically be hit by constant Verbrennen spells until they either die or leave the field. She can also make it so the bounded field works on particular persons regardless of their intentions by mixing their blood while chanting the spell. The spell takes ruffly 3 weeks to prepare and in case it is destroyed she can use the remains to reduce the preparation time by 2 weeks. She already has one set inside her own room.

Gedanken lesen:
A spell designed to read one's mind, it essentially works like hypnoses but instead of taking control of one's mind it simply looks at it, because of this it is much harder to resist it like hypnoses, but still not hard enough an average magus cant resist it, however Cornelia found away to use it that would increase its success rate by 50%, by using it while the target is sleeping she is capable of reading their mind and memory without much trouble.

The cane works as an amplifier, allowing her to use spells without having to cast them. It also possess a particular spell, by tapping on the floor and casting Rohr(although because of Rohr nature as an amplifier as she needs to do is to tap it on the floor) she can raise a boundary field 5 meters ration that stops all movement within it. It is her favored and most used even in normal day life as she carries it around everywhere she goes.

They do not require Cornelia's awareness to react.

Others: The red robe she uses is made of a special material that creates a connection with her body and Schützen they create almost like a system where prana constantly travels from the wearer to the Mystic Code. If the Mystic Code is not active then the prana goes back to the user while at the same time more mana goes in to the Mystic Code making a perfect prana system where both the user and Mystic Code have prana.

Personality: Marcel is quite antisocial, not as a result of being shy but of not wanting other's company. He can always be found with his nose stuck in a book, and is quite a sharp mind. He isn't competitive by nature, finding it obnoxious. When he does take notice of people, he's quite snark and dismissive. But his truest nature is rather insecure and lonely.
History: Marcel was cheerful and had many friends when he was younger. However, his intelligence and skill made many jealous and he became mistreated. As a result he began to ignore others and treat them rudely and dismissively. Once he entered Clocktower, he saw this as an opportunity to prove his hardworking nature and intellect, but his now-instinctual shell has kept him from making any friends.

Age: Looks around 30 years old but is really only 16 years old.
Personality: Not merciless but cruel, not inhuman but deviant, not kind but friendly. Rack seems to be the living example of a contradicting being that can never be understood by humans.
History:

Having witness his mother's death at the hands of his own father at the age of 5, he was left with a severe mental trauma for the rest of his life. Demons in an attempt to end his suffering, possess his body, but because demons are an impossibility his body reacted negative and his personality was twisted into an aggressive, unpredictable and sadistic person. On the early stages of possession Rack kill his father and devours his body to absorb the minerals and moister in an attempt to halt his own body deterioration, which only had a minimal affect as at the time he still wasnt compatible with the demons to absorb other organisms.
At the age of 10, near the final stage, Rack's body was melting and rotting away, almost on the brick of death, it seems that ironically despite his hatred towards his father, it is his father inherited magic circuits that end up saving his life, even more ironic because of his attempt to absorb him, Rack also ends up inheriting his father's knowledge on Magecraft.
Becoming a successful Demon Master by the age of 15, his body still showed side effects, as his aging process was highly accelerated. Currently his age is 16 but his body looks as if he was 30, the mage association went in contact with him and sent a proposal, either he would go to the Clock Tower to increase his loss family knowledge in magecraft or both Enforces and Executors would be sent after him to eradicate him, apparently they wanted Morto's magecraft "Weather Manipulation" to continue but under their control and if that wasnt possible then they would simply destroy it. Seeing no other option he decided to join the Clock Tower under the condition that he would be safe from the church while there.

It seems Rack's magecraft was called "Weather Manipulation" but it had heavily deteriorated by the time Rack was capable of using it, he was only capable of recovering 20% of his father's knowledge and he also believes that his father was a deserter/heretic leaving most of his inherited magecraft behind only taking what he felt useful. To make things worse Rack's attributes are only Water and Wind which limit the usage of the magecraft by allot. In total Rack is only capable of using 3% of the original "Weather Manipulation" magecraft.

The Demon of the Left Arm, classified as the "King of Bats", is a demon without battle capacities. Instead, it is capable of transforming into anything that resembles the size and shape of a human and speak telepathically with anyone it desires. The Demon, usually acting under the guise of an elegant aristocrat, acts as Rack's spokesperson in human society. If ever brought under the gaze of a high-class executor, it would be unable to maintain its shape, and be forced to return to its original form. It is quite fond of the aristocrat appearance and works happily for the sake of Rack, humans(ladies), and bats. The bat followers are often used by Rack and the Demon to deliver and receive messages. The Demon is usually used for tracking.

The Demon's reason to existence, was that of a manifestation of Rack's desire that cannot be seen, The Demon's form of a bat is for the reason that bats do not need to see, thus thinking that if his desire could not be seen then maybe The Demon would be capable of find it for him.

The Demon of the Left Arm, classified as the "Queen of Fortune", is a tall woman with a pair of dragon like wings coming from her back and a pair of horns in her head. Her creation was away for Rack to fill the emptiness in his heart by creating a figure similar to his mother, because of this The Demon's personality shares many affection human emotions such as kindness and sacrifice towards Rack. In general she is a quiet and loyal Demon that heavily cares for Rack as if he was her own child and would not hesitate to shield Rack from harm. However her nature is anything but human like, her very nature and power is more close to that of a Succubus than any other being. Her abilities resumes around dreams and illusions making her a very useful tactical Demon. Because of her Succubus nature she can invade other peoples dreams and control them to her own amusement, she can make these dreams seem so real that the mind and body are completely fooled by the dream, as a result what ever damage one takes in that dream is manifests in reality and if one was to die in their dream they would die in reality. Her illusion abilities allow her to manifest anything that comes to mind in to the world as an illusion. These two power are incredibly close, so close that their literally only one power, her illusion abilities is nothing but the manifestation of things that manifested in dreams that she previously invaded. She also seems capable of invading one's memory through dreams.


Demon of Right Leg:

The Demon of the Right Leg, classified as the "Queen of Confusion", is a small girl with fox tail and ears, she seems to be very playful, cheerful and aggressive that surprises Rack himself who wonders if he ever made her to be like that, she is so playful that Rack had to put a restrainer in his own leg so that she wouldnt just move around leaving him missing one leg. Despite having no actual battle functions she functions as an additional battery of mana, in case Rack is ever running out of mana he can just suck The Demon's own to replenish his, however it leaves her in a state of heavy fatigue. She also seems capable of casting spells for him using her mana.


Demon of Left Leg:

Name: "King of Destruction" Pride

The Demon of the Left Leg, classified as the "King of Destruction", can only be described as a massive manifestation of a curse called "Pride", it is what Rack believes to be the purest form of "Pride" that he houses, is serves as a mirror to show him what he truly is. This massive black ball with a diameter of 5 meters, is the purest form of "Pride" there is housing no other emotion other then i am the greatest, its arrogance is so great that sometimes it outright rejects orders from Rack. Still Rack find this personality quite enjoyable for a good laugh. The Demon is mainly a defense system, as it is a curse driven by Rack's own pride, it's virtually indestructible, only if Rack dies does it become possible to harm it, however even then its shell is as hard as titanium. But its true power is on its rotations, The Demon rotates at such speeds that it sucks the very air around it making a mini tornado around him, this creates a layer of rapid winds that offsets anything that targets it, making The Demon the one with the strongest defence out of the 5. The Demon does not own any of the 5 senses, instead it feels, sees, tastes, smells and ears through Rack, however it does possess a sixth sense, emitting a telepathic wave it can draw a real time map within a 500 meters ratio, localizing anything that may be an organism. Because it possess no mouth it speaks through telapaty.


Demon of Torso:

The Demon of the Torso, classified as the "Symbol of Chaos", is a gallant mechanical armor updated with modern weaponry, equipped with a dual sub machine guns in its arms, its massive sword is the finest technology Rack could imagine, a vibrating sword that could cut titanium easily, it can change to a portable cannon that shots magical cannon balls at around 500 km/h. The Demon is essentially made of steel with the cape being made of kevlar. The Demon is not much of a symbol of chaos in general but more of Rack's own chaos, it was created as an humiliation to his father but at the same time as a form of worship as if not for his father's actions he would have never reached where he was. Because of this it was stripped of its will having nothing more than a mechanical will. If The Demon was to be summoned than all other 4 demons would also be summoned leaving Rack as a bodiless head, in this condition he enters a coma state where he cannot function, if such was to happen "King of Destruction" would be placed in charge while "Queen of Fortune" would be most likely guarding the head.

However Rack was able to trick this by adding a supportive system to "Symbol of Chaos". Rack can take over The Demon's mechanical armor if he is places inside of it. While inside of it Rack regains conscience and gains control of The Demon's body, however he loses the senses of touch, smell and taste, having only sight, hearing and an additional sense is gained. Every 5 seconds The Demon emits a 100 meters ratio telepathic wave that allows Rack to have a 3D updated map of 100 meters ratio in his mind.

Personality: Is exceedingly devout, and full of holy fervor. He truly believes that everything he does is guided by god. However since coming to Clocktower he hides his true personality. Usually he only shows others kindness, curtsey, and a willingness to help to the best of his abilities.

History: He was orphaned at a young age and was taken in by the Catholic Church. The church however saw much promise in the boy, and named him Gabriel Magus, as a pun with a serious cast. He was raised to be an Executor, but more than an executor he was raised to be a spy that the Church could use to keep an eye on the Mages Association. The church cultivated his natural abilities towards mental interference magic, and even went one step further and taught him to use rune magic.

This is a cleverly disguised set of switchblade keys that have blades instead of the keys. Runes are inscribed on the inside of the keys to initiate a recall spell when a button is pushed completing the rune. This gives it the appearance of a mystic code with teleport a recall which he designated as his room. What the keys really are though is a conceptual weapon replicated from black barrel. As a replica it is unable to be nearly as potent as the original black barrel was, but if he strikes a demon, or any otherworldly element the natural life-span concept will force them to state of humanity

Cerose Aldalta

Age: 17
Personality: Varies a lot, but usually very active or very lethargic. Likes to be warm.

History: A daughter of a prestigious mage family, with rather pathetic powers. More of a pain than a family member, they were finally glad when they sent her off to the Clocktower. They've arranged it so even if she fails miserably, she still advances normally. Has parents, a brother, and sister. Middle child.

Magic Circuits: 37, although each is weak compared to a normal one. Activates when smelling blood. Doesn't deactivate until the sense of blood dissapears or she runs out of mana.

Heat Wave - Upon activation of her magic circuits, the prana is converted automatically to pure heat that radiates from her body. At medium distances, it can only be a bother. At short and physical range, it can heat objects up to terrible tempuratures

A teddy bear that she's had since she was young; for her own safety. It absorbs heat directly from her body when her circuits are activated. Prevents her body from overheating, as well as slowing greatly the rate of dehydration.
*The heat absorbed can be released as a concentrated stream of heat: Much like a flamethrower but without the flames.
*The Teddy Bear is also able to convert a large amount of heat and directly inject it as a 25% conversion energy factor into Cerose (If the bear reaches it's heat limit, this happens automatically.) This energy increases cell/nerve/organ activity, speeding up her natural procesess to an unnaturual, though not supernaturual, degree.

(Reaction time, regeneration, thought process, etc. This can be used even without activating her magic circuits. Roughly 25% of the time used when activating her magic circuits is the duration of this.)

Carries two daggers with her. Nothing magical about them, though they were special ordered to be real daggers, not some Reinessiance fair ripoffs. The only special property they have is a higher than usual melting point.

Personality: She is for the most part shy. Preferring to keep to her own self rather then mingle and make friends especially because most circles of friends usually include at least one guy. Due to her history she has a strong case of androphobia, which she also uses her shyness to hide. Guys who enter her bubble to far may be met with severe resistance in the form of a lot of colour.

History:

(Well I am just gonna sum it cause I don't feel like writing it out in ridiculous detail) Her father beat her when she was a child which started her distrust of men, but her mother whisked her away from that bad situation and as her mother was the real lancaster she she taught emily the family magic, her father caught up with them though and in a fight both of emily's parents were killed. During her middle school years she was beaten and almost raped by a boy she really liked, she ended up killing that boy before he could though, but if her father had started her distrust, that boy had fully bloomed her androphobia, she also hated herself for killing him. When she went to clock tower she was mostly out cast by choice preferring not to get involved for fear of her androphobia showing, at Clocktower she met Gabriel who is the first guy in a long time she has not been absolutely terrified of but he also respects her bubble even if she has never said anything.

Chromaturgy Is a very rare form of magic it has roots in Alchemy, Jewel Craft, and Material Transmutation magic. To this day there is but one single family still even capable of preforming this all but lost art of magecraft. Essentially it creates a substance called Luxin from light and colour each colour having its own unique special property, that can be intermixed with other forms of luxin to combine the effects. Chromaturgy is also unique in the fact that it doesn't require much in the way mana or magic circuits to be strong. The different types of luxin are

Blue

Blue Luxin is hard, strong, and smooth. It can be used in anything from the creation of large structures to armor or bladed weapons or projectiles.

Yellow

Yellow luxin is most often a liquid that releases its energy back into light quickly, allowing its use as a torch or a trigger to ignite flammable materials or explosives. Yellow nourishes other luxins, extending the durability of luxin structures or tools. Like water turning to ice, when yellow is drafted perfectly, it loses its liquidity and becomes the hardest luxin of all.

Green

Green luxin is springy and flexible. The uses are as varied as the chromaturgist is creative: from furniture to projectiles to shields to the throwing arms of war engines.

Each charm represents a different colour, and when the charms are touched they begin to glow brightly in the colour it represents, except for the sub-red charm, being what sub-red is the charm begins to get exceedingly hot. The purity of the colour that this mystic code produces also enhances her chromaturgy.

A very unique form of Mystic eyes, the ability is a hereditary one that was jealously guarded by the Lancaster family. Though in modern days the uses of such an ability are mostly lost on the magi, this form of Mystic eyes grants the ability to see in all forms of light and wavelengths. From superviolet(beyond Ultraviolet) to sub-red(infrared). The most practical upshot of this ability is the ability to see in the dark. It also allows the user to notice and differentiate the slightest change of up to a 1/1000 of a gradient change in a colour. As well as see things that others would otherwise be unable to.

Alright, I have zero knowledge about Type-Moon, so i'm gonna need someone to summarize the most important info on the sheet (type, attribute, circuits, etc) so I don't have to read through a bunch of WoT's on the wiki. Please. :x

Quick sum up for you SS

Type = Essentially are you a magus, demon master, in my rare case executor, human for that matter, remember this is type-moon so demons and vampires do exist as well

Attribute = Better way of saying it is your elemental affinity, which is directly related to your magecraft

Origin = Defines your Mage in one to a few short words

Magecraft = type of magic you wield (doesn't necessarily have to be canon)

Mystic code = is an item that a magus uses to channel his or her magic, usually has spells of some sort linked into the item, more simply put your favoured/most commonly used spell placed into an item so you can rapid fire that without draining yourself in the process

Magic Circuit = Well... this is a tricky one technically speaking the more circuits you have the more prana (Mana and Od) you can channel, but there are cases where quality of the circuit can easily win out over amount.
