Default Fate/Alter RP

The Sixth Heaven's Feel, the ritual to summoned the famed Holy Grail, has begun once more. In the city of Aspen Springs, the Holy Grail War has finally begun. Summon your Servant and fight for your greatest hopes and darkest desires. But be warned; danger and death await every corner. And if you and your Servant can't learn to cooperate, death will come swiftly - either by another's hand, or even your Servant. And when you stand alone, intoxicated on the Hill of Victory, what prize will be waiting for you at the journey's end?

Arzei Duphaston stood alone in the cold chapel, staring intently at the altar before him. The high, vaulted walls and beautiful murals on the windows painted a serene scene, but that atmosphere was false. No, in this place Duphaston felt anything but serene. The eyes of the tall woman standing immortalized on the altar seemed to bore into him. Turning away and disregarding the unpleasant notion, Duphaston instead faced the door of the chapel, musing to himself.

"Two already," he said aloud, if only to hear the voice of a human being. "I wonder how many more will register before the day has ended."

As if on cue, the phone in the room behind the chapel rang. Duphaston turned and strolled into the plush, comfortable sitting area, reaching for the phone.

"I've summoned my Servant," the voice said curtly, without any introduction. Apparently the speaker (definitely a female) didn't see any need for formalities.

"Excellent," he replied, excited at the thought of another visitor and another game piece on the board. "Do come over and register as soon as possible."

The voice seemed to pause, as though wanting to ask a question, but this was only followed by a dial tone. Duphaston gave the phone an amused look, shrugged, and returned to the chapel. His eyes stared out toward the double oak doors, waiting to invite more in.

"Yes...let the games begin," he said, laughing delightedly.

“Shut. Shut. Shut. Shut. Shut. Five perfections for each repetition. And now, let the filled sigils be annihilated in my stead!” Lykaios begins the summoning that will finally change his life. Some days ago Lykaios was having a normal day like usual, stuck in his workshop and researching his long lost family magecraft, boring day empty of excitement and uniqueness, that was until he encountered the strangest of books.

“Ye first, O silver, O iron. O stone of the foundation, O Archduke of the Contract. Hear me in the name of our great teacher, the Archmagus Schweinorg. Let the descending winds be as a wall. Let the gates in all directions be shut, rising above the crown, and let the three-forked roads to the Kingdom revolve.” It was not unusual to find books filled with riddles and mysteries that held no sense of reality, but this book was different, an artifact capable of granting any wish, a battle between sides to claim said artifact. Lykaios hated when authors of book used hyperboles, and the word 'any' was no exception to his hatred. However, although such word should disgust him, it was this very word that intrigued him.

“ – Set. Let thy body rest under my dominion, let my fate rest in thy blade. If thou submitteth to the call of the Holy Grail, and if thou wilt obey this mind, this reason, then thou shalt respond.” Lykaios who possess no wish for himself was attracted by this unknown mystery, how would he let such opportunity escape? The answer was simple, he wouldn't. For the past days, he had prepared the summoning circle and awaited for the right time that his whim chose.

“ – I make my oath here. I am that person who is to become the virtue of all Heaven. I am that person who is covered with the evil of all Hades.” It is here, in his mansion's basement that he carved the circle into the ground, every single degree and placement lined up in perfect harmony to create the most powerful of summoning circles he had ever seen in a book.

“Thou seven heavens, clad in a trinity of words, come past they restraining rings, and be thou the hands that protect the balance – !” He drops a sweat as prana raced through his body. Thunder roared, accompanied with clouds that bore mighty winds. The summoning circle that Lykaios had prepared for days now, shined in magnificence. What could come from here? was all that he could wonder.

To the left!

At the same time of the thought the foot was let loose like a canon. It's boot smashed into the bone, shattering it at the impact point and breaking it into two larger pieces.

But she didn't kick far enough. Zessoku didn't feel the impact of hitting flesh.

"Oi oi!"

A sound as her foot was grabbed.

"Remind yourself!"

Got her! The rest of Zessoku's body fell, her hands like springs and pushing off the ground!

But the opponent let go, the grab itself was a feint! She could feel the roundhouse kick that she twisted from the floor to perform cleave through air. The foot hit the ground and she began to regain her balance. Quickly! But then there was a prick at her neck.

"But even if I say that things are just too unfair..."

Zessoku could tell from the tone that the end of something that was only a game has just ended. The prick on her neck wasn't dangerous. Her offbalance standing meant that she had just recovered from a desperate attack and was taken advantage of. Judging from the position, it was likely something done by pushing off the ground. She couldn't even remember what had happened a second ago, but the position of her body revealed what did all in an instant; an influx of information that is infinately quicker than remember the step by step memory. Just as soon as it was registered, it was tossed back out.

"Go ahead, take it off."

Another influx of information. Dumped. Another influx. The echoes of "Go ahead" merged with "Take it off," at the same moment. She realized the friendly but stale voice was talking about the cloth around Zessoku's eyes. Hand reached for it.

Influx. Dumped. Influx. Her hand was reaching for the clothe wrapped around her eyes. Her body had no hostile tension in it, there was no danger.

Dumped. Influx. Light. The cloth in her hand and her adjusting eyes revealed that she was blindfolded. Her body was warming down from a light excercise, but it was relaxed now. It was over. A few bone spikes sticking out of the ground here and there. The spikes were one of the spells of the Magic Crest, her bones, one of the few solid memories. Her foot tingled, the after-sensation of crushing through the bone on the floor and the one being held at her neck, telling her she did break it. And there was a woman with glasses and light-green hair. A labcoat, but in a tense position. Not tense, but cooling down from being tense. She was breathing rather hard, the broken bone spike in her hand.

"A blind-fold, holding back, and magic on me."

Influx. Dump. Echo. Repeat. Normally she wouldn't be able to hear the whole sentence, but this person knew to speak shortly and did it on purpose. She knows about Zessoku's condition then. Training. Or playing?

A smile on Zessoku's face.

Information flux.

She was smiling? Something to be happy about? The scene renews.

All this in less than ten seconds. A constant hailstorm of renewed and dumped information was what assailed Zessoku in every moment she had. The woman accompanying her on the little heavily handicapped sparring match was her Physician, read: Babysitter, Ryouko Tanbo. The two had been living in Aspen Springs for a while now, but Ryouko would always be a stranger to Zessoku. She wouldn't know Ryouko had a haircut, unless she noticed the unnaturual growth or hair on her shoulders. She wouldn't know that Ryouko belonged in the house unless the house itself smelled like her in part. Zessoku wouldn't know that she herself belong in the house unless Ryouko told her.

Zessoku had been put in the Grail War for the Yachiyo Family. Ryouko had been hired to watch over her and direct her in matters she couldn't handle.

And now it was time to summon the most important part of the Holy Grail War: The Servant.

With a motion of her hand Ryouko dropped the piece of bone and told Zessoku to retract the bones into the yard. Zessoku began to react, information flux, noticed what she was doing, continued to react, information flux, and her hands touched the ground and the bones were returned to the earth. Ryouko was calling her into the house. The same process of beggining to act, losing that information and gaining everything new, and noticing her action and contueing it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The symbol was set. The verse was written on a page Zessoku held in her hand. Everything was perfect.

But then of course something stupid happened. So unbelievably stupid, that Ryouko put her palm on her face. So unbelievably stupid that Zessoku was on the floor right at the end of the incantation.

SO UNBELIEVABLY STUPID that the Servant wouldn't be summoned right.

Her stomach growled. That meant she was hungry. She lost concentration of what she was doing one moment, wrecking her posture and preperation for one moment. But that one moment, information was dumped then retreived anew. It was total, but it was....

So unbelievably stupid.

She said the same word twice. Only the same word. She continued on with the summoning. Ryouko peeked through her hand. Good. Nothing blew up. Zessoku finished the ritual and...

*BOOM*

"... Why does magic always make things blow up. Really? AH WAIT!"

She was talking to herself. Not Zessoku. Zessoku would notice that, and know that it didn't have anything to do with her. So she would notice she was in a house, and there was an explosion in that house. And her body was tense from something, which meant she was in a tense situation. So she went to the explosion.

And what did she find there?
The place was a mess and there was something off, so she guess she could act surprised.

Her mouth opened in an exaggerated O shape, and her palms slapped against her cheeks.

Ryouko was behind her, not surprised in the least. But very unnerved at the messed up kitchen. She was on dinner duty tonight, after all.

The summoning circle Lykaios had prepared pulsed with magical energy, then suddenly glowed with blinding light. As the rays of brightness stretched toward every corner of the room, they suddenly stopped short of their goal as a black hole appeared in the middle of the room. The light was sucked backward by the irresistable pull of the blackness, which seemed to billow and waver before dropping to the ground like a heap of black cloth. In a moment, the blackness seemed to rise up from the ground, and a face appeared from beneath a dark hood, her distant and vacant eyes boring into those of the only other person in the room. She opened her mouth slightly, and a voice like the whisper of a night breeze came out, so quiet yet monstrously loud in the silent void that had proceeded her summoning but a few moments ago.

"I am Servant Assassin, and have heeded the call. Tell me, are you my Master?"

----------------

The kitchen was a mess indeed. The explosion had knocked drawers loose, thrown open cabinets, and spilled the contents of nearly half the kitchen onto the floor. Looking supremely unconcerned, poised with one leg over the other like a king atop his throne as he sat on the kitchen island, was a very good-looking man, with dark hair and shimmering eyes like gold. He wore bronze armor plates on his shins and forearms, as well as a shoulder plate on his left side. His torso was bare and well-muscled, and around his waist he more a decorative belt and cloth of golden-colored fabric reaching almost to his knees.

"Well, it would appear my Master is hardly a good housekeeper," he said, smirking. He surveyed both women in front of him, and both his eyes and smile widened noticeably.

"But it seems I've lucked out this time."

Ryouko's face was one you could expect. She mumbled something about why couldn't she have just exploded.

Zessoku on the other hand...

Dump of information. A brand new flux. Nothing different than usual. Everything was commonplace, as if it had been that way for dozens of years. Her face was in surprise mode. So she was surprised at something. In front of her was a half-naked armored man in the kitchen. The kitchen utensils were out. A magic symbol on her left arm pulsed, telling her she had dominion over this man. He seemed to look at her, neither surprised himself nor very relaxed. So he knew her, but only barely. Master, housekeeper. It was simple then. All the dots were connected.

She spoke up, he was talking to her. So she had to do a response.

The dots remained linked during the multiple influxes that occured in her one sentance.

"Stripper, you are a servant who obviously does not know how to cook. As someone who cleans messes up, you should realize how much of one you are making. You may be my servant, but please do not push yourself to do things you cannot do, even if they are easy and simple."

It was clear that the term servant was used in a literal sense.

She sumrised that she kept her surprise face long enough. It dropped, and from the length she's been talking she assumed she should be mad.

She suddenly frowned at him, finger cracking in an obiviously threatening manner. Her orange-gold eyes met his, with absolutely nothing behind it. But the rest of her body looked incredibly angry, and overly so as if it was a real life caracature.

She didn't know how angry she was supposed to be, so Zessoku just went with a phrase she remembered from her childhood: 'The more the Merrier.'

"BWAHAHAHAAHAH!"

A friendly laugh from behind, so Zessoku decided she should laugh too.

"Bwa. Ha. Ha. Ha."

Unfortunately she decided that she should act tired as well from the strain of her vocal cords. A tired laugh, something that wouldn't happen naturually. A botch of feelings that did not go together, but the immatations were forced to.

Lykaios looked at the figure in front of him, his face still retaining his composure but inside he wasnt anything but calm, excitement and shock mixed together. He had read the book and knew very well what Servants were, spirits from all times and ages, beings who reached such levels they could be called deities themselves. So it should not surprise him that the figure in front of him would be powerful, it should not surprise him that a familiar he summoned could be more powerful than its master, yet knowing and witness it are two distinct things. He swallows dry to calm his own excitement "So it seems." although dry tone, there was satisfaction in his voice.

He had done it, he had summoned a Servant and now he could claim this so called wish granting artifact. But before that "Assassin was it?" a peculiar name, however he did not question it, at least for now "It seems that we will be working together, however let us leave this place for now---" there was a pause as he walked towards the lathers to leave the basement "I am Lykaios, but you can call me as you so see fit." he said in a normal tone as he opened the door and looked back to see Assassin. It is true that according to the book a Servant is but a tool for the Master to use, however Lykaios would be damned before he disrespected a legend.

Assassin watched the man who had summoned her with interest. She was unhappy at being summoned; in the abyss othe Throne of Heroes, she had been able to forget her sorrows. Being alive again, even for a moment, had returned all those feelings which she'd been forced to carry all the life she could remember.

"Yes, Master," she replied, standing up and forcing away the memories, the bitterness. She was tool once again; her mind didn't even need to register that. It had kicked in automatically since her eyes first took in the room. As he headed up the stairs and reached the door, the gentle rustle of a cloak told him that Assassin was beside him in an instant, her head bowed and mostly hidden from view in the folds of her cloak.

"Master," she whispered quietly, as though in fear of speaking out, "if I may suggest it, it is customary for Master's to register before the Mediator at the church."

Assassin knew that he was a magus, and obviously did not summon her by mistake, but it seemed as if his knowledge of the War was marginal.

"If you wish to do so, I will be beside you in Spirit Form," she replied, vanishing from sight.

------------------

"Stri-ehh?!" Rider cried, completely taken aback. Quite literally. In his surprise, he leaned back and toppled off the island, crashing out of sight to the ground. Their was a tumultuous clatter of silverware and dishes on the other side before Rider slowly stood up, rubbing his head.

"Is this some kind of bad joke?" he grumbled. He strode right up to Zessoku and stuck his face quite close, only a few inches from hers, studying the strange way her eyes seemed to focus and unfocus as her mind fluxed and dumped. He sighed and stood back, shaking his head.

"My luck holds. My Master is a complete lunatic," he complained. He paused and seem to give her a very visible once-over.

"Although she has a pretty good body, so it's not a total loss," he said with a shrug.

"Is that so? Hmm, I guess it's best we go there now. Luckly the church is rather near, thanks Assassin." he thanks Assassin just as she turns to spirit form, which catches him a bit by surprise, he could feel his Servant there, yet could not see her, probably couldn't touch her too, this was a rather convenient power. Lykaios walks out of the basement, and into the living room, there he finds one of his maids cleaning the dust off the table in the middle of the room. Lykaios family was old, old to the point where it even had family servants, although ridiculous for the current age, it made things convenient as there was no need to hide the fact of magic existed. With a simple nob, he greets the maid and lives for the exit; putting on his coat, he opens the door and walks out of the mansion.

The mansion was large and isolated too, far from the city, it took a few hours to reach it by foot; however this time his trajectory would be different, the Church was up the hill right besides his mansion.

It took him around an hour or so to reach the church, but its massive doors were now in front of him. How terrifying would it be to be in front of a church late at night if he wasn't used to be in the darkness of his workshop. He knocks on the massive doors and then slowly opens them.

Zessoku's face was plain. She was seeing no need to do anything, so naturual she did nothing. The information about her controlling a familiar stronger than herself kept pumping through, but it wasn't weird. She was unable to consider things weird. Stripper. That was the name she had of the man who seemed to joyfully overreact with no real purpose.

Ryouko's laughter suddenly went queit. That was enough of laughing. Time to get to business.

She took off and polished her glasses.

"Now, Mr. Servant, unfortunately you'll have to bear with the name she gave you unless your image changes. Your Master-"

Speaking of which, Zessoku started cleaning up the mess that had occured. She had already set out a methodic map for her body to follow to put away everything and throw out the trash. Her body had the posture of someone impatient, because she beleived one would be impatient to have this trash cleaned up.

"Has two massive mental conditions you'll have to deal with. I've been hired by her family to help, but as you can see I'm nothing more than a normal human.

One: She has no feelings. It goes beyond simple 'emotions.' She is unable to feel lazy or apathetic. No joy. You get the idea.

Two; and this is the most important."

The physician puts her glasses back on.

"She has no memory. It is not 'Amnesia,' there is in fact NO memory. She instantaneously understands and dumps information. As such her brain has an incredible capacity for understanding and information, leading to incredible deductive and instant reasoning. Without the mumbo jumbo, it all comes down to that she has no short-term memory."

Ryouko walks over to one of the unopened cabinets. It has a latch on it. Obviously something for a last resort, should something shake the house. She took out its contents. Spirytus Vodka and a shotglass. The two are shortly intermixed, and the shot of vodka is quickly swallowed.

"A quick word of advice though if you want her 'pretty good body': She feels pleasure without the sense of joy that acompanies it. Take her to bed if you want. But if the pleasure isn't greater than the pain at all points in time, her first time will be your last."

A second glass shot down.

"Oh, I don't mean she'll kill you. She'll recognize you have your uses. But one of her command seals will be used to make your d**k dissapear from this mortal plane, lost in all eternity. Probably your balls too, Stripper."

Zessoku continued her work on cleaning up the rubble. In all instances, the person in the labcoat, 'Shotgun,' was talking about her objectively, so there was nothing to comment on.
