Gold Roger Bar is a bar located in Loguetown. This bar used to be the most popular bar in town, in which many pirates used to gather. But since the execution of Gol D. Roger, only Marines come to this bar, until Luffy entered the bar by coincidence. Also by coincidence, Luffy appears to be sitting in the exact same seat at the bar table as Gol D. Roger as seen in the flashback to when Gol D. Roger is speaking with Raoul, the man who oversees the bar. The bar appears only in the anime.

Lili, having been itching for a fight deciding that the infamous Gol D. Roger bar would be a excellent place to not only kick off her adventure toward the grand line, but also to find maybe a strong marine or three to spar with. She entered the bar and confidently strode over to the nearest stool to the exit, all eyes of the 7 marines present solely on her.

Lili sat down with a coy grin playing on her lips and ordered the strongest round the bartender had to offer. Shocked by her a woman asking for such a drink, the bartender poured the drink with more than a little skepticism.

Turn 0

Elric sighed slightly annoyed. He had been told by his commanding officer he needed to socialize with the others more so he headed towards the Gold Roger Bar. He wasn't wearing his uniform as usual since he found it unsightly.

Upon entering he saw 7 other marines stationed here staring at this woman. He looked at her. She was drinking the strongest liquor the bar served. A grin spread across his face. So there was something interesting here. He took a seat next to her and ordered the same drink she had but seemingly ignored her for the rest.

While taking a sip of the liquor, she very subtly used her devil fruit powers to spill his drink on his lap and laughed at his misfortune with a mocking tone. "Ahahaaha~ is your bladder now strong enough to handle the liquor?", she said quietly, trying to get a reaction out of him.

If her reacted hostile or not, Lili didn't care, as she decided while he was distracted with the drink spilling and her talking to lift up the glass bottle of liquor and try to crack it right over his head.

Turn 1

Seeing his drink fall over he jumped backwards to avoid getting hit by the liquor. By doing this he fell off of his barstool, landing flat on his back making him look like a fool. On the bright side he avoided having the liquor stain his clothes. After the glass fell from the barstool to the ground he caught it. Due to him falling Emilie's swing with the bottle missed.

"You're a feisty one, aren't you?" He replied with a grin as he stood up about three feet from her. Suddenly the glass he was holding was thrown at her temple. He just hoped the seven marines wouldn't try to intervene.

Location: Gourmet Island, an island that has various types of food occasionally rain from the sky.

Turn 0.

Blue was on a mission of urgent importance. He was given the task of retrieving a selection of food, from an island that was rumoured to be made from cake. He strolled along taking bites out of tree's, that turned out to be sponge, licking the rocks that turned out to be marshmallows, and drinking the river, that turned out to be chocolate sauce. "This trip is the best, I wonder If we can just move here?" He said to himself.

(This is where the person going first picks where the battle will happen and gives as much detail as they can to help the other person picture the soon to be battlefield. I did so with the link and picture and will explain more in my intro.)

Intro (this is the header for the turn, yours will always mimic mine since I'm going first)

Emilie "Lili" Rochefort decided that this town would make the perfect target to momentarily take a break on and used the opportunity to stock up on supplies while she was there. She knew that there was a large marine base in the center of the island, and did her best to contain her constant battlelust. While walking down a crowded market street, she secretly swiped several items that would serve her pirate crew well, making extra sure the merchants of said items were distracted.

After her pockets were filled, Lili snuck off to a deserted alleyway to count her loot. "Grandpa never told me stealing could be so. . so. . . exhilarating!", she thought, a smile of self approval spreading over her face. While Lili hunkered down to inspect her loot while snickering, she temporarily lost track of her environment, too focused on patting herself on the back.

(The intro turn sets the scene for the battle even further, and describes the scenery so that each person knows what's going on. In an intro turn usually no fighting between our characters take place since they haven't met each other yet. On the 2nd player's (you) turn they usually meet up with the 1st player and make up a reason to fight. It doesn't always have to make sense, and they can do it just because they feel like it if you so wish.)

While returning from a mission Daniel Green a noble marine was ready to just go to base and head to bed. While walking down the street a poor little old lady was pleading for help. Daniel rushed to her side and she mentioned of a fearsome lady who stole off of her cart while helping other customers. Daniel enraged of hearing this after coming back from a mission goes out to investagate. He walks by another merchant pleading for help and begging Daniel to catch the fearsome lady who stole of his cart. Finally Daniel had enough so he walked to the nearest park around town. When Danile was about to leave the park out of the cornor of his eyes he see's a lady with large pockets. Being suspicous he catiously walked over to the girl saying "hey you, do you know anything about a poor old girl running around town terrorizing merchants and stealing off their carts?"

Upon hearing someone behind her suddenly talk, Lili jumped in surprise, spilling all the contents of her pockets on the ground. "Well, I guess the gig is up. But you're not taking me in without a fight!" she said while slipping on her brass knuckles and taking her battle stance.

After a brief pause of staring down the person, she threw a punch toward him that released a shockwave of vibration. The destructive waves left cracks in the sides of the buildings and threw up a big cloud of dust while Lili ran toward the person's last seen location, her face in smiling battle mode.

(In this turn it's where the opening moves are exchanged. You want to try and respond in any way to my turn as long as it's within your character's power. If you say suddenly touched her, which is called "calling a hit" and "meta gaming" that would be against the rules since by saying you touched her that would be somewhat controlling my character before I could do anything, ie cheating. But you can use attacks in her direction or even attack the environment to make say a tree fall on her. The only limit is your imagination and character's relative strength. Obviously he's not going to be lifting an entire house, but he probably could at some point if you made him stronger Also, you don't always have to be damaged by the attacks my character use, but coming out of every fight unscratched is kind of stretching it. Finding a balance of getting hurt some and avoiding damage through clever counters or dodges is something we all work to achieve. :])

with a grin upon his face Daniel reaches into his pockets and pulls out his brass knuckles. " i guess we will just have to do this the hard way" a smirk upon his face as he gears up for battle. Unexpectedly Daniel gets blown away from Lili's shockwave. While getting up from the floor wiping the blood from his lip Daniel says " wow i guess i will have to rest later this looks like this will be fun". Daniel then rips off his shirt and dashes forward lili showing off his speed and style and throws a punch.

At the last moment she used her Hurricane Breath technique to blow a strong gust of wind from her lungs, knocking his fist away escaping just in the nick of time with a quick hop backward while kicking one of the apples she'd stolen from a merchant toward his midsection.

While she was rearing her leg back to kick, Lili manipulated the wind around her legs to blow them forward faster and with greater force, sending the apple speeding forward like a small cannonball.

Hurricane Breath: Emilie quickly exudes a powerful sweeping gust of air from her lungs, usually used as a quick offensive or defensive option when she's caught off guard.

Tailwind: Emilie generates wind near her limbs to maneuver at high speeds (On the ground). This allows longer and higher leaps.

(Good first attack you seem to get the basics of sparring, but this is where things get a bit more complicated. In this turn I used my character's devil fruit power in addition to the environment to make a clever response to your move that was still within her limits of that situation. Note how I didn't completely disregard your attack or brush it off. That's a sign of good sportsmanship and it ensues that everyone sparring is having a good time. Now let's see what you can come up with in clever combinations of fighting style, environment, devil fruit and situation tactics :])

Turn 2 :

Not expecting this major gust of wind he went limp and used Kami-e floating away from harm with this gust of wind. Essentially floating away from the cannon ball like apple.

While in the air Daniel use's Geppo bouncing through the air at faster speeds than previously lili has seen. He then appears in front of lili but wait its a clone from Daniel running so fast, he is actually behind lili and touches her left arm draining all of her power for the time being. While touching lili Daniel smiles and uses Shigan .

The Shigan (指銃 Shigan?, literally meaning "Finger Gun") is a close-quarter combat technique, in which the user pushes their finger into a certain target at a very high speed, leaving a wound similar to a bullet wound, making guns unnecessary

The Geppo (月歩 Geppō?, literally meaning "Moon Step") allows the users to actually jump off the air itself, allowing them to stay in the air for much longer than usual

The Kami-e (紙絵 Kami-e?, literally meaning "Paper Drawing") makes the users' body go limp in order to avoid any attacks, and float like a piece of paper
