Turn 9
Remiel
He tries to circle around the Seizah Dreameater and shank it from behind.

24.02.2012, 04:02:06 1d35: 30 = 30 Remiel Short S. Seizah Gedomaru

30 damage against 1 health: 0 HP (-29 overkill.)

Remiel is successful in his attack and lops the Seizah Dreamcatcher's head off in one sweep! Man, that took awhile. Remiel decides it'd be best to rest awhile... preferably away from the scene of the long lasted, loud battle.

Remiel comes out of battle victorious, but wounded. (39 HP left)

Think I did that right. I dunno about rewards or if I'm supposed to roll again or w/e.

Exploring

IC: Godric walked about the barren landscape that was once the great empire of Apsalon. Though his village was much smaller, the charred buildings and the smell of soot and smoke reminded him of home. He could see a dragon circling high overhead, and was cautious not to provoke it. Though he had progressed a lot in the time since his last dragon encounter, he still knew he was nothing of the hero that his mentor Leonis Fen was when he had saved Godric before. He tried to find lower ground, and noticed a small cave dug out into the rocks. He made his trek to the opening, and entered cautiously. Inside, he found a large chest with marvelous pearl inlaid handles, and gold leaf trim. He opened it slowly, only to reveal a smaller chest. For a moment, Godric thought he was having a stroke, but after collecting himself and opening the smaller chest, he found a vial full of a brilliant red elixir.

Exploration:

Olivia decided to explore through the Absalon Wastes. With a hint of fear in her heart, she stepped into the zone hoping to find the artifact her Instructor lost. It wasn't long before she ran into danger. A Seizah Mindeater appeared out of nowhere and attacks her.

Spoiler
Turn 1:
The Mindeater fires a black sphere against Olivia. It scorches her badly as it bursts on her body. Her mediocre defenses block some of the damage, letting her take 17 damage. [23 HP left - Olivia]

Olivia raises her wooden stick and prays to her Gods. Her body instantly shines with brilliant light. She is healed for 44 points, reaching full HP again. That wasn't all... As she feels her health rejuvenated, she grips hard her wooden stick and smacks the Mindeater's head, damaging it for 16 points. Filled with the battle's momentum, Olivia sweeps her stick on the Mindeater's feet, forcing it to fall. It takes 1 damage as its body smacks on the ground.[58 HP left - Mindeater]
Turn 2:
The Mindeater regains its footing and dives nearby reflecting pool. Leaving Olivia's reach.

Olivia is unable to attack, thus she remains in combat stance, waiting for her enemy to appear.
Turn 3:
The Seizah Mindeater suddenly appears and extends a finger toward Olivia, letting loose a powerful black colored energy tendril from its fingertip, it grabs hold of her, and begins draining him of her wit.

Olivia is unable to react and falls for his grip. The Mindeater damages her for 10 points while healing himself for 5 health points. [Olivia - 30 HP | Mindeater - 63 HP]
Turn 4:
The Mindeater then turns back to the pool he dove in before and drinks some of its water. It eyes glows as it heals for 10 points. [Mindeater - 73 HP]

Olivia immediately began her attack, as her enemy was busy drinking. She runs towards it and thrusts her stick against its head, hitting it hard for 17 damage. She follows with a sweep across its head, slamming the creature down to the ground for 9 damage. Olivia's adrenaline pumped high, as she immediately lunged on the lying creature slashing it twice on the chest with her dagger, causing 46 damage in total. [Mindeater - 1 HP]
Turn 5:
The creature was now very close to death. It manages to escape and dive into the nearby pool, hiding its presence.

Olivia knew she couldn't reach the creature now, so she decided to sit back and heal her wounds. She raises her wooden stick and fills herself with bright light, healing for 39 points and reaching full health.
Turn 6:
The creature sticks its head out of the pool and stares at Olivia as its eyes fill with black. In an instant, two beams fire from its eye against Olivia. Luckily the beast was too wounded to perform the attack properly, thus the beams were too weak, dealing only 4 damage. However Olivia instantly felt weak and couldn't move, losing the opportunity to attack. [Olivia - 36 HP]
Turn 7:
The creature now goes all out as it leaps out of the pool, opening its monstrous mouth to bite Olivia's rear-end. It manages to bite a small chunk, damaging the woman for 6 points. [Olivia - 30 HP]

Olivia screams in pain and brings on the light to heal herself back to full hp. (22 points)
The Mindeater now lied on the ground, almost at the verge of death. Olivia raised her stick and prayed. Then she brought her stick down, finishing off the dying creature. She was victorious and could already felt the effects from the combat. She became stronger. [+20 XP]

Godric continued roaming through the barren wastes of Apsalon, only to very quickly find a hostile creature. A Seizah Dreameater stared him down rather intently. He knew that the slightest movement could make the beast attack... but he really needed to scratch his nose.

Spoiler
1. Luckily, the Seizah Dreameater fell asleep, leaving an opening for attack.

(26.02.2012, 16:22:48 1d10: 9 = 9 Dreameater Interact Balling)

1. Godric thrusts his staff toward the sleeping Seizah with a mystical grey smoke energy, the smoke attracts large chunks of rock and earth before smashing into the Seizah Dreameater, surely waking it, but damaging it significantly. He then attempts to stab the creature in the gut with his hunting knife, dealing even more damage. After his attack, Grey Smoke Solidifies around Godric, becoming a stone armor.

26.02.2012, 16:33:28 1d10: 3 = 3 Dreameater Interact Balling

2. Godric is too confused to attack.

3. The Seizah Dreameater gulps down a pool of glowing blue liquid, healing it for 7 HP.
(Dreameater HP: 31) (Godric HP: 75)

26.02.2012, 16:35:53 1d10: 5 = 5 Dreameater Interact Balling

3. Godric repeats his famous soul Crushing Gorgon's Fist Attack on the Dreameater, and after his staff floats back to him, he does it again. Hopefully destroying the weakened Seizah.

26.02.2012, 16:42:39 1d30 + 2d6 + 10: 6 + (5 + 3) + 10 = 24 Godric Attack Golem's Fist Balling

Exploring the Seizah Cavelands

Olivia felt proud of herself after her first victorious fight. Now she proceeded further into the land, discovering a tunnel which led to the Seizah Cavelands. She decides to enter. As she winds down the tunnel that Justice has built, Olivia senses that this is much more than what it appears. She reaches the entrance to the Seizah Cavelands, to the right of the entrance there's a large engraved stone panel on the wall, it has two colored indentations, one red, with a flame-like sybol, and one blue, with a marking resembling a droplet of water. After inspecting it carefully, she continues into the caves.

The path suddenly turns right and Olivia notices a compartment built into the wall. Reaching her hand in, she grabs a old pouch. Fortune smiled on her as she found 100 draal inside.

So far, success and Olivia does not back out. She keeps going on. The path turns right again and another compartment was on the wall. Olivia tries her luck once again and reaches in to grab something. "Aaah!" She screams as something stabs her arm, damaging her for 10 points. (I don't know if DP applies here... I'll assume it doesn't) [45 HP left]

The woman quickly draws her bloody hand back and runs away, only to be ambushed by a Seizah Torcheater.
Spoiler
Turn 1:
The Seizah Torcheater begins gnawing on its own hand, causing it to bleed an oil that ignites upon contact with the air. The creature makes a karate chop motion with its arm, sending flaming blood spatter hurling toward Olivia. It barely manages to touch her. Her clothing prevents any damage taken.

Olivia doesn't hesitate and rushes in for attack. With her sturdy stick in her hands, she aims a sweep against the creature's stomach followed up with a stronger sweep on its back. Dealing a total of 33 damage. [Torcheater - 42 HP]

Turn 2:
The creature now seems angry. It quickly lights a nearby branch and jumps towards her. It hurls the branch against Olivia, however she manages to knock it away before the fire could burn her severely. Unfortunately in order to put our the flames on her dress, she loses the chance to attack.

Turn 3:
The creature now seemed to be distracted by something. This was a very nice opportunity for Olivia to attack. She dashed forwards and smashed her stick into the creature's gazing face. The creature falls back from the impact, taking 35 damage. As the creature backs up from the attack, Olivia skillfully places her stick between his legs, causing it to fall down and smack its head on the ground. It takes 3 damage. [Torcheater - 4 HP]

Turn 4:
The Seizah Torcheater holds its stomach for a moment, and subsequently vomits up a large pool of oil. Setting the oil ablaze, the creature covers itself in flames as it rushes toward Olivia, delivering a quick punch to her groin. Olivia jumps back as a reflex reducing the punch's impact by a lot, taking only 2 damage. [Olivia - 43 HP]
"May you reborn into a better life." With those words, Olivia takes out her dagger and slices it across the creature's neck. It heavily bleeds out oil and collapses to the ground, lifeless. Olivia was victorious once more but she was too fatigued to continue her roamings. She turned back and returned to her instructor, failing to recover his item but managing to become stronger from the battles. [+20 XP]
